Agree completely. Good point. 3rd place in the beginning of the season we all would of been pretty happy with that but at this point in time in the season if we ended up 3rd it would be a huge disappointment. IMO but still a ways go against some big teams

Thing is third place only secures qualification to the CL play off games. As we haven't played in Europe and finished 7th twice we could potentially be drawn against a much more difficult opponent than we would prefer. if we finish first or second, we get direct qualification to the group stage. this makes a big difference. It will also secure funds and we can use it as a bargening chip when it comes to signing players.
