Del Piero has played for Juve all his life, which puts him at a whole different level.

But I am sure Inzaghi would still score goals if they let him play. And Zanetti's physical shape has indeed been amazing.
I wish Nesta could play till 38 at least at his current level. :)

Hard. Nesta's had some serious injuries with both knees. Zanetti is little bit lucky looking at the several positions he has played for Inter as Midfielder and Defender yet never picked up an injury to sideline him for several months.

Maxi lopez to Milan tonight :seven:
Why we need him, I will never understand. It looks like Galliani was trying to use Lopez to get Tevez from City.
Like "see? we got options anyway, so if you don't want to sell, fine!"

But it turned out to be a game which Galliani lost, so now he has to sign Lopez. :D

He's a very good finisher but he can barely make simple passes, has the wrong attitude(going after Barbara was the most stupid thing and he looks lazy) and is constantly injured.

At best, he'll be your new Inzaghi.
Yeah, you are mirroring the sentiments of some Milan fans.

Sometimes Pato is simply unplayable, when he uses his pace and finishing. (e.g. the goal vs Barca). But if he needs to work with the team, he totally gets lost. And the injuries has slowed his development down to a halt.
It's sad really, as he is perhaps the most talented young Brazilian around...

Neymar is more talented than Pato albeit more raw.
Hard to judge on this one because Neymar hasn't played in Europe.
Back when Pato played in Brazil, he dominated just as much as Neymar does now.

How do Milan fans feel about this? (asking those who post here)

Personally I think he's an average player and it's kinda laughable to sign him after all the hype with Tevez.
Most Milan fans feel like we don't need either of Tevez of Lopez, taking into account all the holes in our midfield and a tight budget.

Yeah but how do you rate him as a player?

I agree about midfield part, you're kinda fragile there while you're fullbacks are anything but good :p

From what I saw, he wasn't particularly great even at Catania, so I have no clue what to expect of him.
Regarding fullbacks, Abate is great. But yeah, one isn't enough.

Milan's midfield is so bad it doesn't exist. Ibrahimovic & Thiago Silva = A.C. Milan.
I wouldn't say that. Our attacking line up is pretty much world class (barring injuries). In defense we are also covered quiet well, except for the LB position.

In midfield - Nocerino and Boateng are potentially world class midfielders, but we severely lack box to box CM like De Rossi, Schweinsteiger, etc.

Nocerino World Class??? Wtf have you been smoking? He is nothing but a weak Gattuso.

^ I guess you didn't see that word right there. :donedeal:
Oh yeah i saw it but even when you said potentially it cracked me up, he is just above average, nothing more nothing less

Not a chance, they are good players at best, playing above their average level right now. They are also 26 and 24 respectively.
Well to each his own opinion. But I think Nocerino can become world class. He has been dominant in Milan's midfield this season, covering huge area in defense, showing great passing, and making surging runs into the box scoring 6 goals.

As for Boateng, his problem is inconsistency. He already had some world class games, like his hat trick in a 4:3 come back vs Lecce or his stunning goal vs Barca.
If he played like that in more games, he would already be considered WC. Unfortunately, he has to work on his consistency and continue growing.

Lololol. Juve has the best midfield in Serie A and neither Boateng or Nocerino would start for us and both would be behind Nainggolan on the bench too. Both players are extremely overrated. I was having this discussion about 5 hours ago with a couple of friends that go for Milan and they both agreed that Nocerino and Boateng are just average or a little above average. Look how your midfield got destroyed by ours in the 2-0 win for us. Vidal is a true potential (and almost is) WC player, Boateng is not.
