Giovinco is too superior to everyone else around him in Parma. Unfortunately he can't do much alone.

Still not prepared to be a regular starter for a big team, though. Mentally he might be, but that physique is such a handicap :wallbang:

Well the content for us Canadians was crap anyway. We lost the 12pm Saturday game though. FSWC and the Score should look at that and show it.

btw TLN blows serious c*ck!

Thanks for the answer Trequartista and I already saw it. It was a bad miss yes, but I love how eager are some guys to jump on hating him.

You never know if he's prepared until you see it, though. But yeah, I wouldn't rely on him a starter place without a good challenger for his role.

I do love Cucina Sicilia though. Those guys are funny.

:p
Yeah, they're all right.

Alf De Blasis is absolutely atrocious thought.

Well, I used to do the same but I've actually watched him play more this year and tried to be objective and he's a good player. I'd bring him back but we would indeed need a strong alternative in case he ain't up to it.

The thing is, Giovinco is really good. He has the knowledge that guarantees him a starting spot in every team and yet he has physique that can get him a starting spot and leading role only in smaller teams.
If he plays for Juve he will again have to be sacrificed and find himself on the bench on half the matches or so. And it will be a right thing to do not to play him on those half matches. But it's a damn shame someone who can play football like him not to be allowed to start all the time.
Mother nature fucked his chances of a noticeable career.

I'd love to have him in the squad though. I hope he wants that too and is willing to sacrifice a good amount of playing time.

And LOL, by the way. I just saw the rest of the game's highlights. Look at Parma's opportunities, Seba is in all of them.

That through pass who lead to an own goal, the run and shot... that's what I say we need upfront. Regardless being Gio or another guy. Flair, technique, creativity, intelligence. The only player we have like that is Vuci and on a whole lower level Giaccherini.. Ale too, but his lack of pace kills him in the modern game. The HL here:

True, true, true. Fucking true.

Giovinco is probably one of the best players I've seen in terms of talent (much more than Marchisio, for example, to name a successful one of his generation at Juve). His physique though, and transition to the senior level don't allow him to show his qualities at his best. What a shame.

P.S.: ~170cm would be enough, as with more height he'd lose his low gravitational point of balance that allows him to have such a refined technique.

We desperately need his free kick taking ability also, he came very close to scoring on a couple of occasion.

Oh, and Faraoni looks good, what a goal.
