There are 10 players banned for the re-arranged Week 1 ties which will be played over Tuesday and Wednesday.

The opening round of fixtures were set to take place on 28 August, until a player strike saw the games called-off.

The 10 men banned for midweek are: Davide Biondini (Cagliari), Moris Carrozzieri (Lecce), Matteo Centurioni (Novara), Gianluca Comotto (Cesena), Gennaro Delvecchio (Catania), Mehdi Benatia (Udinese), Emiliano Moretti (Genoa), Stefano Morrone (Parma), Gabriel Paletta (Parma) and Mauricio Pinilla (Palermo).

Nope, don't look for Boateng's name. It's not on the list.

Minor contact or not, they just couldn't let this go ffs. Ban him for 1 match, fine him with some symbolic fine, but you just can't let this go as if it didn't happen.

This is even worse than Krasic's dive. Boateng pretended he's in deep pain ffs

Why no one from our board/Mang is bringing this up? Why are we not commenting on this? Milan are our direct rivals, it's only right to bring this subject and complain. I can't believe how stupid we are sometimes.

What's even worse not a slight scandal about this. Haven't I checked this thread I wouldn't have known about this dive. I check Serie A news daily and not a bit of scandal or question.

The contact is between the goalkeeper's left knee and Boateng's left foot. That's what saved Boateng (among other things). The question is if Boateng was the one who made the contact or Brkic. To me it's clear that Boateng was looking for the contact and that's cheating. The moment the contact came, the black princess threw herself as if she was shot.

3, definitely.

4th, 5th and Coppa winner go to EL. If the Coppa winner and Coppa finalist are already qualified for Europe (by being in top 5 in serie A) then 6th place will also play EL.
Do you think having a team less in European competitions could help Italy to gain coefficient points? I mean, having one team less not giving a damn and losing in the first leg means the average is not affected as much as if you have a team that goes out in the first leg (and does not get any points).

It depends how will the teams do, but it should help. The points teams in CL make will be divided by 6 and not by 7 (total number of Italian teams in Europe) so that itself will make the coefficient higher.
