Baring Cassano, you had a fully fit team against Juventus. Plus your one man team played aswell.
most of the returning players were fresh off injuries and with little game-time under the belt - Ibra, Boateng, etc; Nocerino and Aquilani were still new and spending time on the bench, while Ambro, MvB and Seedorf had been playing non stop at that point every 3 days and were tired.
Milan was playing badly in general in that period with the defense, including Abbiati, making uncharacteristic mistakes and the team was having a hard time and losing pts even vs average and downright bad teams, like Cesena.

Luckily, that seems to be behind the team now :)

No-one (sensible) is disputing that Milan are a good team - and that they ought to win the title.

The objection is these teams who face Milan in a manner than means they've lost before the game even starts.

Tonight's game always going to finish 1-0 or 2-0 to Milan because Genoa played in a manner that meant they couldn't attack and - unless they were extraordinarily lucky - weren't going to keep a clean sheet.

Chievo did it to a lesser extent last week: they didn't mess up tactically, but their players looked terrified of Milan. They showed so much respect that they all just stood off and watched as Milan did nothing remotely impressive and still score four goals in a half.
I am fine with that :D

btw, it's not like Milan is playing at 100% either - many of these big score and easy wins have come with about 20 min of effort and the rest is mostly watching Robinho and Ibra dick-around with lazy passing.
Sure, tactics like that makes it easy for Milan to get those wins but that doesn't mean the team can't bring their game up if called upon now that they've hit proper shape.

Milan are the only team to have looked that hopeless when playing Juve. :p
to be honest, the stats didn't bother me that much knowing well that Milan was still rusty and tired at that stage of the season - I told people here that I expected Milan to take 5-6 rounds to get their act together and that's how it turned out to be - the loss to Juve and the win vs Palermo was the turning point of that patch of bad performances.

 I'm sorry but Robinho must suck monkey dick if he can't finish from at close even when not trying...

Ibra is always serious imo

Besides Ibra-Pato-Thiago-Boateng the rest of Milan is average..Actually no ibracadabra and without pato/cassano you would be a lot lower.

And if Milan were having to play well to win these games easily, there would be no complaint.

It's just this continual, irritating non-performances that are allowing Milan to win without breaking sweat.

Milan should beat Genoa, but Genoa should be good enough that Milan have to - at the very least - get out of first gear to win the game.

I don't even get why teams are so scared of Milan. Ibrahimovic is the only player in the Milan team that I could understand teams being intimidated at the prospect of facing.

Are teams really so terrified of Boateng, Aquilani and Nocerino that they feel they have to concede the midfield to Milan and not even try to compete in that area of the pitch?

This isn't a criticism of Milan, incidently; just the opponents who lose without putting up a bit of a fight.

He's average. I wouldn't buy him.
Milan is a mediocre team with a champion like Zlatan.

Take him out and you have utter mediocrity all over the pitch.

Except the central defence :D
That's just not true.

I hope most of your here are joking in these posts about Milan. Would be shocking to know this many of regular posters here are in fact football illiterates.

I am sure RealM would still be first in Spain w/o CR, Benzema, Ozil, etc or Barca w/o Messi, Xavi, Iniesta ... or for that matter Juve w/o Pirlo, Marchisio, Matri

:p

It's Boateng. I wouldn't take him over Vidal, Pirlo, or Marchisio any day of the week. He's very athletic and shows skill from time to time but he's not what I'd consider a quality player.

Red, I am sure you have seen enough games in your life to know that strong teams are usually treated with not respect but fear by smaller teams all over, not just Milan. As for Milan not being that good of a team just because they aren't as good as Real M or Barca these days ... well, I will leave it at that ;)

no, JBF, I am pretty sure they are being very serious ... talking about walking in the skies :klin:

P.S. I think Red may just be pulling my chain but the rest seem to really think Milan is utter crap of a team

Ibrahimovic is the only player in the Milan team that I could understand teams being intimidated at the prospect of facing.
Through him, the smaller Italian teams are also intimidated of the team he's playing for. Inter won the CL in Mourinho's second year but in Italy they didn't get their wins against the minnows so easily as they did with Zlatan.
One coach from serie A was talking about this shit last year and the Ibra effect on the small teams. The Milan fan can confirm if it was Allegri. I think it was him and how incredibly important his presence is for his teammates due to his effect on the opponents in Italy. Ibra will argue, yell at his teammates and thus motivate them. On the other hand he has the exact opposite effect on the opposition.

As much as Hoori will try to downplay this - Zlatan Ibrahimovic is not winning these scudetti by accident or just because "he always gets to play for the best team".

I'm of course not trying to downplay the obvious quality Milan have in the team in other positions, but the Zlatan effect is huge, much bigger than Zlatan's actual quality as a footballer.

ut he's not what I'd consider a quality player.
It would be retarded to take him over any of those three. Not for anything but the fact that he doesn't cover the positions they do.

I'd take him over any of our wingers though, that's for sure. As for him being only very athletic and showing some talent here and there :howler:

What makes Boateng a cock? The Michael Jackson dancing surely doesn't make him a cock, neither does singing the happy birthday song. You guys need to stop hatin'. He's probably an outgoing dude who likes to have fun and raises the spirit in the team.
He is a giant penis head. I follow him on twitter, trust me, I know him.
