A little fortunate win by Milan, due mainly to a disorganized Roma in defense, considering how little team effort Milan showed tonight - key players were often ball watching and lacking the desire to their part in closing Roma down. Best player for Milan was Aquilani, by a mile, in terms of play build-up and very strong defensive effort. MVB and Nocerino had a pretty average night, overall. Other than that, Cassano is a genius and Robinho had one of his worst outings for Milan.
Hopefully the lack of maximum effort tonight was with the CL game in mind.
All in all, good team effort by Roma, who had a lot more fluidity to their game. As mentioned earlier, they are a work in progress and a loss in a game like this doesn't mean their project is crap ... at these stages, it's to be expected that the team could lose some games, while playing better but they showed a number of good things tonight to build up on.
Rest assured my Juve buddies - Roma is not a team to be taken lightly as they, at this stage of their project, may lose to weaker teams but can also end up beating anybody.
Oh, and Napoli are who I thought they were
