I would say its something in between. Italy's top sides aren't as good as the best teams in the world but at the same time I think the provincial teams in Italy are notoriously difficult to beat relative to other leagues especially La Liga and that's what makes Serie A generally more even.

I can't believe people consider EPL and BBVA as good football what is so great about winning 8-0 or having Tevez, Aguero, Balotelli, Dzeko, Silva and Y.Toure, K.Toure, Kolarov and Nasry all in one team?! I mean its great for the teams they're supporting but the league itself is pure crap
