Cavani is making it a bit harder for himself to leave though. Napoli will never let him go unless somebody pays them more than 40m+. I can see Barca getting him though since he's the ultimate striker in their team. Except scoring ability, they want a player who's constantly moving and who can also put pressure on the opponents back 4 is something that Cavani is great at. Too bad this isn't 10 years ago cuz surely we'd have Cavani in our team.
Ya right :howler:

You don't think Napoli will ask for more than 40 million if Cavani keeps on playing like this? With guys like Falcao, Pastore and Sanchez going for prices like that. If Palermo could get more than 40 million for Pastore I'd say Napoli would be stupid if they didn't ask for the same.

They can ask for 50M if they want to, fact is they won't get that. Pastore went to PSG who are big spenders, Falcao is an amazing striker, and Athletico had money to spend. Cavani will go for 25M tops imo.

There will always be teams who'll pay for a striker like Cavani if he keeps on playing like this.

Not unless he lets his contract run down and pressures Napoli to sell him.

Napoli won't sell for €25 though.

Unless - As Red pointed out that his contract runs down on years.

Do you guys remember Cavani's wages? They guy is on about €1,8 mill or something.

Or has he signed a new contract?

i see napoli getting to the next level if they will finish in top 3 again. More money, players will stick after renewing and de laurentiis won't sell.
