I don't think their fans hoped for a lot. But they can't be worse than Sense, as they were spending 3mln/year for 5 years or so. They never had any budget, but now they'll have at least something to spend.

Luis Enrique will bring some Barcelona B players with him.
Oh for sure. I just doubted when I heard they're going for Pastore & Co. I think they'll focus mainly on youth. In a few years I see them as a competitor.

He is indeed a player Milan are interested in even if he is one for the future and will be another couple of years before he matures enough and will have the impact Milan are looking for in a player this season.
Lamela, however, is more of a back up plan and Milan could indeed decide to go for should the FIGC not increase the non-EU quota or Taiwo not get his French pass in time.

The recent Menez rumours are also the result of Milan needing a back-up plan for the aforementioned reasons, although Menez could still come to Milan even if the first-choice player for that position is signed.

As for the first choice, if rumours in Brazil are to be believed, and some in Italy too, Milan has already an agreement for a certain player, who is non-EU, and that seems to be the only reason why he has not been announced officially yet. :)

Clues for who that player is, can be found in my signature :D

+1 to Doozy. Bojan will not come to Italy.
I wouldn't be so sure ... the Villareal option is not exactly enticing either plus Roma now have the Luis Enrique connection. Obviously, if one of the big-bucks teams calls - Man City, Chelsea, etc - Roma would hardly stand a chance but right now they seem to have other targets. Bojan could end up being use as a make-weight in a possible deal with Arsenal for Fabregas but, as of right now, Roma fans can hope.

Also, Barca have a relatively limited budget for this year - their financial guru said they could afford to spend no more than 45 mil for transfers even though it is not certain if any possible revenue from selling players was included in that amount.
So, considering they want one of Rossi, Sanchez, Aguero and they wanna go for Fabregas again and could probably use a center back, selling Bojan, as well as Thiago and Jefren, as soon as possible may well become a priority for them.

Bojan is nothing to get excited over.
if your team has Villa, Messi and Pedro and the likes, that's indeed the case but if you are Roma, who btw is trying to emulate Barca's wonder football, Bojan could indeed be a sweet piece of pie in your eyes :D

I myself am not overly excited by Bojan but the guy is still 21 yo or so and his recent displays, and development overall, have been influenced negatively by lack of regular football, so overall, he could well turn up a great signing once he gets his career back on track and live up to that hype hew was enjoying 3 years ago.

I think he's the "Mr X".
Witsel just a smokescreen. Galliani has been in talks with his agent couple of weeks now.
Interesting.

I've heard Roma have little money for the Mercato.
Could be one the reasons they were looking at Pioli and hired Luis Enrique, no?
I heard Roma owners borrowed money to buy Roma.
What a fantastic discussion. If I didn't know better I'd think you guys were some big time agents around Serie A.

Baldini is not there yet. He's still with the FA. Sabatini has contacts in South America yes, but that market is pricey these days.
Baldini will be there as he's already giving instructions to Sabatini.

Sabatini said he wants to sign Lamela at all costs and he will fight for him. Rafael could also sign for them (GK from Santos) and Alvarez too.

Most of their transfers will be done until mid July, in the first two weeks of mercato.
