Man City won't buy any more attackers next season, not anyone remotely considered as a starter anyways. Unless they sell Balotelli which I don't think they will as long as Mancini is manager.

They'll have only 3 attackers if Tevez leaves, I don't think they'll risk only having those 3 strikers for a whole season !

I think Milan will do a swap + money kinda deal ( similar to Ibra=Etoo plus :money: deal).

Just my guess.

This analysis might be a little premature, since it's better to wait until New Year and see how Juve does against Roma and Udinese. Still, it won't hurt to look at the serie A schedule in January-February and make the analysis anyway.

Milan will have a hell of a schedule after New Year. Like I said in the Roma thread, Milan so far lost only 12 pts and 10 of those pts were lost in the opening 5 matches where they played the top 5 teams Juventus, Napoli, Udinese and Lazio. After that Milan played two other tough matches (away to Roma and Fiorentina) and they again lost pts on one of them. So, to conclude, Milan are having troubles this season against the better teams.

Now to look at Milan's schedule:
JAN 15, H- Inter
JAN 18, H- Novara (Coppa)
JAN 22, A- Novara
JAN 29, H- Cagliari
FEB 1, A- Lazio
FEB 5, H- Napoli
FEB 12, A- Udinese
FEB 19, A- Cesena
FEB 22, CL Knockout (could be played on FEB 14)
FEB 26, H- Juventus

It's here where we will know for sure if we have a shot for the scudetto. We simply must not have the annoying January crisis. If we don't, and since we have a much easier schedule than Milan, then January and February are our chance. We must do great in these months. If we don't, then no scudetto for us. If Milan does well in these two months, then again no scudetto for Juve.

I feel like mentally this is a much stronger team than last season and Conte won't allow for us to drop our focus during what he must realize will be a key period of the season for us. My main concern is injury and fitness becoming an issue for us again.

Novara director of sport Mauro Pederzoli aimed a sideswipe at Inter, insisting they are “in the relegation battle.”The Nerazzurri have had a difficult start to the campaign and are fifth from bottom, on a par with Siena and Bologna with 14 points, albeit with a game against Genoa in hand.

“Anyone below 15 points is in the relegation battle. Inter? Let’s say Inter are also in that fight,” Pederzoli told Radio Kiss Kiss.
One of the reasons the Nerazzurri are so far down the standings is their shock 3-1 defeat to Novara, which cost Gian Piero Gasperini his job.
“Novara have always made life difficult for everyone, but recently we’ve had too many injuries, especially in defence.
“We are alive and kicking, doing what we knew we had to do. We are determined that we’ll reach our objective.”
