This is a stupid deal on Barca`s behalf.
Roma bought him for 12 and sell him for 13 which means Roma gets him on loan and get paid for it (1M)
ofcourse there is the clause which says Roma could buy him for a further 28M but do you think Roma rate him as a 40M worth player?! I highly doubt it!
If they want to keep him I see them asking for a huge discount
For that price 40M they could get Tevez or Aguero

I see this as possibly a great deal for barca.

They have a player with immense promise that seems unable to prove himself on the pitch within their ranks and requires first team football in a big side to do so. Roma under enrique is probably the closest kind of team style you'll get to Barca's. Instead of loaning him out to the likes of almeria and other shit teams, he gets to play regularly in Serie a in a big rising side under one of their coaches only for 1 million. If he explodes than barca either make 40 million or enjoy an explosive version of Bojan. If he proves to be a mediocre player than they only lost 1 million (thats change to barca).

Roma are losers either way. If he explodes they will have to end over backwards to splash that kind of money for him or look elsewhere for a new player again and if he flops then they will be stuck with a mediocre player for a year.

This deal is better than Barca selling him or keeping him.. and its worse that Roma buying him or looking elsewhere for a player.

A stupid deal for barca? They are paying 1m to roma to play and develop their young striker. A stupid deal is giving a team half ownership of the player to play and develop him,like we did with gio.
