Btw Ibra leaving Inter would be a dream come true for me personally. I couldn't care less if Serie A loses its biggest star at this point. It's been 3 incredibly tough years for a Swede and Juve fan but now I'm fairly certain he's leaving... there is this interview that'll air Monday on eurosport.se that will be very interesting.

It would hurt the whole league in general if stars such as Kaka or Ibrahimovic leave. Juve is part of this league and we'd definitely hurt in long term as well. Calcio needs to have enough elements for attracting the stars in order to keep them or at least replace them with some other stars.

As for Ibrahimovic, I hope he'll end up in Madrid.

Milan 'blame' Osvaldo for deficit

Milan have found the culprit for the fact their deficit has doubled this year to £60m. “It’s all Daniel Osvaldo’s fault!”

The club’s failure to qualify for the Champions League – pushed out by Fiorentina – proved to be a massive financial blow.

“Osvaldo’s goal cost us £33m,” sighed Vice-President Adriano Galliani when referring to the ex-Viola striker’s decider against Torino last season.

“If I had known that at the time, I would’ve saved money and just bought the player directly.”

Osvaldo did not live up to that part of his career, leaving Tuscany on loan for Bologna in January.

The damage was done to Milan, though, as the Champions League brings clubs a great deal of income as well as prestige.

In 2007 the budget was approved with a deficit of £28m, but that has now gone to £60m thanks to the fact the income has been reduced from £40.5m to just £6.7m.

“To have a balanced budget, Milan absolutely need to play in the Champions League every season and go as far as possible,” added Galliani.

The Rossoneri also failed to make much of an impact in the UEFA Cup, going out to Werder Bremen in the third round.

Mourinho clings to Ibra

Jose Mourinho has tried to calm the storm surrounding Zlatan Ibrahimovic. “If it means keeping him, I’ll buy the player myself!”

The Swede caused consternation this week when he hinted that he might not remain at Inter next season, as he wanted a new experience outside of Italy.

“I have known about this interview for two weeks and it’s fairly normal,” assured Mourinho.

“What he said is no different to the comments from Kaka or Carlos Tevez. I say the same thing, that I have won the Premiership, want to win the Scudetto and then one day would like to win in Spain.

“Someone might write on the front page that means I am leaving Inter, but I will 100 per cent be here next season.

“Ibrahimovic said he is happy here and that one day he’d like to try another style of football. That is normal.”

The newspapers have already been hard at the rumour mill with talk of a switch to Barcelona in exchange for Samuel Eto’o and cash.

“Ibrahimovic will stay. If the President really wants to sell him, then I’ll play the player myself! I’d go up to about 10m Euros, seeing as it’s difficult to get bank investments…”

The Ibra story comes in the same week as Adriano officially rescinded his contract with Inter.

“I await him here for the Scudetto celebrations,” smiled Mourinho. “If we win, then he has won too. I am sad to see him go, though I hope he’ll find the happiness he is looking for, the kind he couldn’t find here.

“I see Adriano as a friend and a good lad. The Scudetto party will be the best chance to be together again.”

The Nerazzurri have not secured the title yet, but are 10 points clear of both Juventus and Milan going into a tricky trip to Napoli.

Surprising transfer rumours are swirling around that Napoli have made an audacious bid for Real Madrid star Rafael Van der Vaart.

The Dutch international was snapped up by Madrid last season, but since the 13m Euro move from Hamburg he has struggled to make an impact.

While Bayern Munich have been suggested as his future destination, new reports claim that Napoli are staging a swoop.

It is claimed that his management company are in negotiations with President Aurelio De Laurentiis over a deal worth between 9m and 12m Euros.

The only problem at this stage is represented by Van der Vaart’s wages, as he earns 2m Euros per month at Real Madrid.
