Alen, I know it'll sound strange but I loved Zlatan's goal today myself a lot.

But sometimes some of you exaggerate really, it's obvious that Inter is not only about Zlatan. And you can't really say we sold them these last scudetti for 24m, it's just not right and is beyond football.

Inter is Zlatan, Cambiasso, Julio Cesar etc...

This is like also saying Del Piero won us the CL place last year and most of the points which I don't really agree because it doesn't make sense and is pretty far from Football angle points.

Player can make a difference, probably not always, but it's not like just because of Zlatan they won today for example against Reggina. Had it not been Zlatan taking penalty kick for example, Balotelli or Mancini would have took it and so on.

But we can't disagree that he's their main weapon alongside Cambiasso. But he's not everything. Just like Pato isn't everything and just like Totti isn't and Del Piero isn't.

Don't get it wrong but i just don't see it right when you try to make it like he's everything, the defense, the middle the attack.

Another thing, we should really get over the fact that he's playing for Inter like Greg said. We are all glad he left(well most of us) and time to get over it. It's not like Inter are unbeaten because of him.

While papers are obsessed with Pavel Nedved’s retirement, Susy Campanale hopes they can focus on the real revelation of Roma-Juventus.

Where’s the clamour for D’Alessandro to get more playing time?

With the credit crunch, the increased pace of the sport and an unprecedented series of injuries decimating Roma, Juventus and Milan, surely this suggests it is time the sides used their youth academies? It is all well and good to have Nedved around and he proved extremely useful in those 20 minutes, but his presence is postponing Sebastian Giovinco’s true emergence as a star.

It is a sad state of affairs that the Giallorossi are 'forced’ to debut an incredibly talented young player like D’Alessandro – who holds the current record in the Primavera League for getting opponents sent off with his dribbling skills – only when there are literally no other options left. I’m willing to bet that given 90 minutes against Juventus he would have done more than Julio Baptista. Not that it’s difficult, of course, I realise that. Roma and Juventus have some of the best youth academies in Italy, possibly in Europe, having given us the likes of Francesco Totti, Alessandro Del Piero, Daniele De Rossi, Giovinco, Simone Pepe, Claudio Marchisio, Alberto Aquilani, Fabrizio Miccoli etc. Rather than gathering round Nedved to convince him he can play another year at a lower quality level, can we not mount a campaign to get D’Alessandro a starting spot instead?

Well i get your point, but he really is their main (attacking) key player, especially as Mancini, Queresma have flopped. Cambi is a good midfielder. But got to say, Zlatan is inters best striking option out there. I just dont think Balotelli will be something that huge as some (not inter, but italian NT fans) make him to be.

There are rumors of Tevez going to inter, heck to be honest any combo of Zlatan-Tevez, or Zlatan-Drogba would be dangerous. If inter sign a wc striker, they could be VERY dangerous.

Right now, i dont consider them all that great as some make them, some dubious ref decisions, old midfield, maybe more consistent then others, but they are pretty poor in midfield, many of their great names are very very old.

Isn't obvious that he's their best attacking player? My question was more like an answer to the fact that he's not everything on the pitch.

The same can be said about Julion Cesar for example, he has saved his team's butt soo many times for the last one month to say the least.

Same can be said about Cambiasso, he is so damn important to the team that he has played as CB for Inter's most important matches this season. And is vital for the middle.

Lol, don't take what i said so literally. No-one can win a big trophy all alone. Del Piero sure isn't doing that alone but he is still our best player, our alpha and omega on most of the matches, the one who scores the most and the one who assists the most.
The same is with Zlatan in Inter.

If it wasn't Zlatan it might have been someone else to do that for Inter, but it's not, and it hurts to know that we were the ones who gave them their best player. Just like i don't like the fact that we were the ones who gave (sold) Inzaghi to Milan just so he could bring them so many wins, so many points and the icing on the cake, the two goals in the CL final.

Inzaghi and Zlatan, maybe the two most important players in Milan's and Inter's trophy winning years. We sold them to Milan and Inter. We have to live with that, but it still sucks

Anyway, it was obvious he was going to end up with one of the Milan teams. If not Inter AC and vice versa. He never wanted to leave Italy so selling him to one of these two teams was a clear image to both the player and the club.

Well Pippo is scoring goals for fun, but you have to remember the period of 2004-2006 when he was injured for a very long time.

On the topic, if Pippo can keep it up so long and people regret, then well why people want Trez to be sold and get younger player. Looking around, it seems that for a regular goalscorer age doesnt mean much (example, pippo, ruud). Thats why i think we could regret it heavily when we sell Trez, i still think some wc team would buy him instead of mancity, and then we will be crying here. Theres not many great poachers out there.

I do, but that doesn't mean that i have to underrate the player that i hate. I don't dislike a player more than i dislike Pippo, but i also can't find a better goal poacher than Pippo.

That's why i usually get into arguments with people who underrate some players for the sole reason that they hate them. :smile:
