If the top Belgian players are good enough, they'll leave for a better league just like our players.
They will. Because the Belgian league blows. And I've always said that. But at least we've got Standard, Anderlecht, Club Brugge. Teams that have a history in the sport.

It's not hard to follow the Belgian NT. I've seen the top players in action.

They show them all the time on FSC as they can't get the better matches.
Then you are underestimating them.

Their u21 team was sick. They did great bothe at the Euro (for u21) and at the olympics.
Some of those players are now regulars for the senior team and they play in strong leagues.

Belgium is actually starting to look quite okay. I am well aware of the fact that most of you wouldn't know about it as you don't particularly care about the Belgian NT, but it is in fact pretty decent. We deserved to beat Spain last year, but were very unlucky.
I saw you guys play a few times last year and I was impressed. Belgium has a lot of young talent. I don't think anyone is denying that. At least I am not.

At the same time I wouldn't underestimate US soccer(we don't play football). A lot of teams have underestimated the US NT at times and usually end up paying the price.

Oh, but I'm not underestimating the American NT. Far from actually. Andy is the one claiming that the USA could take Belgium any day. And I doubt that.

Yes, they were. Our U-21 team was also sick a couple summers ago. Best talent we've ever had.

Hopefully they will continue to underestimate us. It works out well.

And you doubting that means you're underestimating us.

You think Belgium is better than Sweden? They're better than Poland but don't think so with Sweden.

It's Andy.

To be perfectly honest our coach is an idiot who refuses to play our best players together. Freddy Adu hardly gets a call up these days and the same with the former U 20 guys. Instead we get MLS guys who aren't even in season during the match they're called up for. :claire:

Still even with those jokers, we tend to stay competitive against the majority of the competition we play. That said, I don't think we would roll over Belgium. The US could definitely beat them, but Belgium could beat us as well. We'd stomp Poland, Austria, and Switzerland though.

Exactly. You could beat us, we could beat you, but for the moment it is slightly more likely for you to beat us.
