So you honestly trust what the management tells you?

Jesus.
Look, Andy;

You can believe the management because you trust everything they say,

or you can draw the conclusion that some of the things the management have said are reasonable enough to be believed in, using facts and common sense.

We lost out on the CL for two years. Our reputation was tarnished, economy damaged and we had a mass exodus of quality players.

So in the 3rd year (now), we are back in the Champions League. Can you honestly say that it is an outrage to think that by the end of the 5th year, we should be back at pre-Calciopoli state? Juve red's post did not deserve such a reaction.

I think we should be better, could be better, and would be better if the board had a clue about football. But they don't, and what is more worrying is that I have the feeling the have no love, feel, instinct of the game or Juventus.
Indeed. It's a shame really. Running a tennis tournament is working at a candy shop compared to running a football club.

The argument fails because we can do better. We should not be complacent with meeting standards the management tells us when you and I know we can do better.

Barcelona. their the best team in europe this season whichever way you look at it. I'm not saying things can't change from now till the end of the season. But up and until this moment they are the undisputed team of the season. Both result wise and for entertainment value. The latter is subjective, the former can be proven.
Results wise they are the best team in Spain. This does not make them the best in Europe.

Both Liverpool and Bayern have collected more points than Barcelona did. Going by your logic, Bayern and Liverpool share the title of "best team in Europe" and since the latter is subjective we can easily exclude it from the calculation.

We aren't better than Barca.

That's all I was saying.

They obviously had ulterior motives, such as buying themselves time, for saying it.

I don't think there is much between Barca and Man Utd.
I agree, but its a slight edge for Barca the way i see it.

You know as much as i do that the only reason for that is because Barca qualified earlier than those two and chose to rest most of their players for the last 3 games. They qualified with ease, unlike the two you mentioned.

And why are you excluding the league, both those teams aren't topping their league tables.

Doubt it: united have a defence to handle their strikers, and enough options to produce the edge attackwise. Inter won't contain their forwards.
Yes, but this Inter team seems very different with Mourinho. They are actually beating the big teams this year. They have an extraordinary amount of discipline, not to mention an impressive depth of talent. If United do win, it will be by a very narrow margin, It's not Inter I expect so much from, but Mourinho.

Man Utd will trounce Inter. Inter is piss poor in Europe and won't be able to handle a pacey team like Man Utd. They'll get their asses handed to them just like last season Vs Liverpool.
