Fabio Capello: Give Back Juventus' Revoked Scudetti
England coach Fabio Capello believes Juve's revoked Scudetti should be given back to the club...

England coach Fabio Capello is demanding the two Scudetti that were revoked from Juventus after the Calciopoli scandal are given back to the club because they were won fairly.

Capello was in charge of the Bianconeri when he led them to successive titles. However, the club was stripped of those after the Calciopoli scandal, one of which was handed to bitter rivals Inter.

The Three Lions’ coach has now come out to tell the Italian authorities to hand them back over as he won them fair and square.

"I coached Juventus during those years and I won the Scudetti legitimately on the football pitch," Capello told Il Giornale.

"Therefore I am not surprised that [Giovanni] Cobolli Gigli and the fans are demanding those Scudetti back."

Staying with Juventus, Capello, who never quite saw eye-to-eye with captain Alessandro Del Piero has poured high praise on him.

"I am happy for Del Piero. His class is immense and he is playing at super levels," added the England coach.

"He is showing that he is a champion and he is training well."

Baresi warns of 'Inter enemies' Tuesday 27 January, 2009

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Assistant manager Beppe Baresi is filling in for Jose Mourinho and warns of Inter’s “enemies outside the gates.”

It had already been hinted with Mourinho’s comments that the referee in Sunday’s 1-0 win over Sampdoria was “afraid” that something of a siege mentality was developing in the Nerazzurri camp – a comment that got him sent off and suspended for tomorrow’s trip to Catania.

“We know that our enemies are outside the gates and not within the Inter camp,” noted Baresi in today’s Press conference.

“They are just waiting for us to trip up, but we are prepared for them. Compared to the match with Atalanta, we have rediscovered a united squad that wants to continue picking up positive results.

no matter what is said about capello, i still got mad love for him. he did what a coach is hired to do and he did it more than once for many clubs before and after coming to ours.

you can't argue his greatness as a coach and as a winner. whatever personal/subjective issues one may have with him are inconsequential if he brings championships to your club (irregardless of choking in the CL)

BRING BACK CAPELLO
