Can anyone tell me why a player at their peak would want to join a team knowing that it would be at least two seasons before they could play at the highest level again, by that I mean Champions league, it beggars bloody belief.
I don't believe he will go there.

The most probable reason is that he can further improve his bank balance even though he is already the top earners in the Italian game. Other than that cant think of any ...

Let them sell Kaka to MC , they will get weaker automatically ,
Yeah , i agree with Mark , MC should go after Ibra :weee:

Merda Merda Merda :lol2:

There is a chance they can get stronger too ... with the money, they can get the players they have so desired.

On the other hand, they can buy the whole Brazilian first team (minus Kaka) and all the above 35yo currently plying their trade in the game.

Go for Ibra mofos!!!

Like i said, Milan are doing shitty enough with Kaka in the team and even though there were days when i'd have killed to see Kaka out of Milan, i'm not so sure anymore if it's a good thing.
In theory the money for Kaka can buy half a team for Milan or three amazing players like Ribery, Fabregas and top CB (unless City won't buy them also :D )

With these money Berlusca can create a new generation that will rule in Europe, like they did from 1989-1995 and 2003-2007, and he's very good in doing this.

P.S: Then again, if they sell Kaka now they won't have time to replace him and buy the players they want this January, so there is a good chance they end up 5th again. I won't say no to Milan in UEFA Cup for one more year.

Mattioni I didnt care about. But Milan just signed Agger, save the sarcasm for how great their mercato is Jack&Alen, but IMO this is an excellent signing for them. One which one can be jealous of a little, I really rate Agger, a defenite upgrade.

Though with their jokish midfield not supporting the slow defence, I dont think he himself will solve their issues ofcourse, but a quality upgrade over the insanely horrible Kaladze, thats for sure. Better then all of their defenders. Which is an easy thing to be.
It looks like they really signed Agger (still not 100% official) and i want to ask this..

How come he only played 5 matches in the EPL for the entire season last year and only 9 out of 21 matches in EPL this year?

Is he injury prone or something? Because he's only 24 and he played only 14 matches in the last 17 months. If he's so injury prone at this young age, then it could get even worse later.
Or was it only one serious injury that kept him out for so long?

P.S: And since Kaladze also got injured and will be out for a while, Milan had to buy a defender, wanted or not, because they have only Favalli and Maldini for CB at the moment and it will still take a while before Bonera, Nesta and Kaladze are back.

yeah agger is a bit injury prone but still a quality defender, liverpool seem to have spotted it too late and he wants out. shame for them as agger and skrtl would have been a sensational pairing for years to come

Agger played 43 matches for Liverpool in 2006/07. 27 in EPL, 12 of these matches in CL. He was 22 and he was a regular starter for them.
I think Liverpool did know that he's quality, because why would they play him so regularly in 2006/07?

I asked the question because i thought (hoped) that maybe he's too injury prone, Liverpool knows that he'll always have problems with injuries, and maybe that's why they didn't offer him a better contract and that's why they risked losing him for 9m eur.

So Milan could look like this if they sell Kaka

Abbiati, Felipe, Mexes , Thiago Silva, Zambrotta, Gattuso, Pirlo, Gourcuff (Diego), Ronaldinho, Benzema, Adebayor...Jankulovski, Agger, Seedorf, Ambrosini e Pato

Dinho hit by three-game ban
Friday 16 January, 2009

Milan star Ronaldinho has been handed a three-game suspension for elbowing an opponent against Lazio.

The Rossoneri lost to Lazio in the Coppa Italia last 16 on December 3 and tempers ran high at San Siro.

Sports judge Gianpaolo Tosel reviewed video evidence today and found Ronaldinho guilty of 'hitting an opponent in the face with his elbow.'

The panel also judged that Dinho's actions were intentional because of the 'unnatural height of his elbow.'

The news will come as a blow to Carlo Ancelotti, who had just welcomed the Brazilian back to training after a bout of 'flu'.

Udinese's Fabio Quagliarella and Emanuele Belardi have been handed one-game bans, as has Giuseppe Biava of Genoa, Milan's Emerson, Sampdoria midfielder Daniele Dessena and Manolo Pestrin of Serie B side Salernitana.
