You actually had any hopes before this match ?

The most positive thing about this match is that Roma are even in a worse situation than we are. They don't even have so many problems with injuries and yet they're doing worse than us both in serie A and CL.
If by any chance we get to fight for the 4th place and if we win it at the end, Roma's defeat tonight might prove very important.
That's why i prefered :inter: to win in rather than Roma.
Just wait and see how THIS shitty Roma will crush us in their stadium.

They could do it, i'm not saying they won't.
They couldn't beat us in the last 6-7 official matches though and we've been beating them regularly. ( also, the friendly from last year where we crushed them 5:2)
Juve are a real taboo for Spalletti.

What a joke Roma are this season, 4 losses already. This may be knee-jerk but i really dont think they'll qualify for the CL this season.

And what does it take for Spaletti to change his tactics?? the 4-2-3-1 he is so insistent on adopting has become predictable and easy to stop.

As for the talk about Aquilani, he's a talented player, this game doesnt change anything. But people here do tend to overrate him, most probably because he's Italian.

perhaps it's a Juve thing...we are a tough, not so attack oriented team which has players with battling qualities...so I suppose Juve fans admire those qualities in players more as compared to Madrid or Barca supporters
Interesting point of view, seems possible to me.

How's Aquilani still overrated on here though, when most speaks poorly of him nowadays?

Edit: Yes Hamsik is the better player, but I think Aquilani would be the better fit for our needs right now.

Not that we're getting either player.

who goes missing, when the game gets rough

yes, he is "young", but not young enough to excuse not stepping up when it matters ... like his lethargic games for the squadra azzurra ... its the tiago syndrom ... you do not see that he wants to do something ... one rabona kick against milan do not make him a player juve that is worth the 20 m roma would want for him
whats young though?? he's 24 thats hardly what you call young imo

He is overrated, the fact that most people over here rate him higher than Xabi Alonso makes him overrated, the fact that people label him one of the best youngsters( even though he's 24 ) in the world makes him overrated.

But i do agree with your second statement.

All I see is unnuanced self satisfying shouting when any side loses that Aquilani plays in.
Guilty as charged.
I'm doing that ONLY to make fun of those who argued with me that Aquilani is better than the poor Hamsik who was awful in a June friendly against Hajduk.

Don't take me seriously when i talk about Aquilani :p

by the way.. why didn't Amauri celebrate after his goal yesterday? i know he was loand to napoli long time ago..
When they invented his Italian grandfather they wrote that grandpa was from Naples.
Great acting from Amauri, though. He was showing respect to the false birth place of his grandfather.

The first one is probably untrue. I'm sure a poll would prove otherwise quite clearly.

I reckon he's still one of the best upcoming players in his position.
