He probably said it in Italian, that's why :D

But make no mistake, Mourinho will certainly provide a great show in the following years.
Ancelotti is a big provocateur and so is Mourinho. These two won't stop attacking eachother.
tbh he woont be able to get away with his usual 'i am the best, special one etc' in serie A, in england they are weak and are easily hypnotized by his words, it wont be the same in serie A.

And our Claudio is great at bending over.

It's gonna be a real show next year...
That about sums up my expectations for this coming season. It's kind of sad, really. Like you're just hunkering down, donning your helmet, and waiting for the sh*t to fly for just how bad things can be.

My attitude towards the '08-'09 Juve season thus far can be summarized as: "Bend over and take it like a man... and hope for better seasons ahead." :analcanon:

I agree.

If they stop now, without signing a CB or a keeper, I will not be hugely concerned about Milan in the coming season.
word, they are weaker than us in the back. old age and injuries have marred that defense and if they do not reload then i doubt they will earn a bid for the CL next season as well

milan has more a tactical nightmare than we do to organize their team. how will they organize ronaldinho, kaka, pato, borriello, and seedorf. surely carletto will play the ka-pa-ro, but IMO borriello should start as the target man.

seedorf for the coppa italia :)

Gattuso/Flamini Pirlo Seedorf
Kaka Ronaldinho
Pato

Probably
No way.
I know Milan, i've seen at least 70% of their matches last year. I know their weaknesses and i'm sure that Ancelotti won't be so foolish to make things even worse by placing Seedorf next to Pirlo.
There is absolutely no doubt that Ancelotti will play with 3 DMs (one of them playmaker, Pirlo). Last season even the 2 ball winners in midfield couldn't cover the defense well enough, i can only imagine what will happen if Seedorf take the place of a DM (no-one runs less than him. The guy is a football genius, but he's done. 1 good match out of 20).

I really wish this will be their formation, but i don't believe that Ancelotti will be stupid enough to do that.

1 good match out of 20? Done? That's very harsh on Seedorf. I think he is unmeasurebly valuable to them. Milan played there best match of the season (vs napoli) with Seedorf next to Pirlo:

Gattuso Pirlo Seedorf
Kaka
Ronaldo Pato

That was also the midfield that won them the scudetto in 2004.

Not really, its a certified gurantee that they will play a 4-3-2-1 with the 3 CMs being Pirlo and two DMs. Its clear as day, Flamini and one of Ambro and rino next to Pirlo. They played like that last season, the difference this season is Ronaldinho will take Seedorfs AM role basically.

And that itself makes even more necessary two play with teh DMs, because its not only Kaka not doing much D work is enough, but losing Seedorfs covering (he covers way more space then he is credited for) and play instead with Ronnie who wont do anything but attack and slouch. You can bet there will be 2 dms next to Pirlo, and Seedorf will be backup for their AMs.

Yes, they played like that and you saw how well protected their midfield and defense were. It was 2:2 at HT let me remind you and then a DMC replaced Ronaldo, somewhere in the middle of the second half.
This formation will have the potential to destroy some teams but make no mistake, they'll suffer a lot, especially on counters.
Plus, counter-attack football is what every single team plays at San Siro vs Milan. That's the football that brought way too many points to Milan opponents. Ambrosini and Gattuso were supposed to do all the defensive job in midfield ( because Pirlo, Seedorf and Kaka didn't play defense at all) and for some reason they failed through out the season. If only one DM+Seedorf will have to do the job that 2 DMs couldn't do last year, then be prepared for +40/45 goals conceded by Milan in serie A.

i'm sure ancelotti will do this:

.............Pato..........
......Dinho.....Kaka....
..Flamini...Pirlo....Gattuso

but the problem is no powerful forward. tactically, borriello should be preferred over pato, but no way will that happen. Milan might play like Roma this season in the sense they won't have a true striker on the pitch
