I see Lazio have signed Lichtsteiner, what do they need him for? Is De Silvestri leaving or something.

For those of you who dont know who Lichtsteiner is, he's an attack minded righback that plays for Lille, imo he was the best fullback in the Ligue last season..very good addition for Lazio.

Not sure. Perhaps they'll use De Silvestri at left-back, however Zauri is there.

Lets make a move for Zauri then.

Milan signed Ronaldinho, Zambrotta, Flamini and Borriello.

Few hours ago Galliani said that their mercato is over.
Go check goal.com or some milan forums to see the reactions of the Milan fans. They want Galliani dead because of this bad mercato. He didn't buy them a goalkeeper and now they'll be 5th and miss out on CL again.
Not 1 or 2 but at least 20 different people said this.

I guess it's the same everywhere. Juve fans, fortunately, aren't any different than the others when moaning is concerned. I thought we're the worst but obviously we're just like the rest.
Phew !

I would take that transfer list over ours, however. And we're in the CL.

You are not comparing our mercato to Milan Alen, are you?
Lol, of course not.
I think they have a great mercato so far. What i was saying was that no matter how many and how good players you buy, fans will always ask for more, more and more.
Galliani and Berlusconi brought them Ronaldinho (Ronaldinho !!!!) , Zambrotta and Flamini and the fans are calling them names because Galliani says the mercato is closed and because he didn't buy them a CB, GK, LB and a top class CF.

Ditto. With the deals this transfer window, I felt like we were just climbing out of Serie B -- not competing in the CL and for the scudetto.

He probably said it in Italian, that's why :D

But make no mistake, Mourinho will certainly provide a great show in the following years.
Ancelotti is a big provocateur and so is Mourinho. These two won't stop attacking eachother.
And our Claudio is great at bending over.

It's gonna be a real show next year...

Trust me if Juventus were having as good mercato as Milan you will hear much less bitching from me:D
Exactly, the signing of ronaldinho alone is a master stroke, not only commercially but also for their play on the field - and it was an absolute bargain! He has made the transfer fee back already in merhandising, with an attacking trio of pato-ronaldinho and kaka always interchanging they are going to very dangerous, also the capture of flamini, who was brilliant last season will go along way to solving their midfield issues, there only problem is defence but zambrotta was a sound buy and he will take some of thepressure off the centrebacks, lets not forget that a fit and on form nesta is better than any other defender in the world.

I cant help but be very disappointed with this transfer window, it started off nicely with the free capture of mellberg and the amauri signing, then our board really showed their shortcomings by signing knezevic and poulsen - much better players were available but they bottled it and just went for the cheapest options. I feel sorry for buffon, he expected champions and he like the rest of us have been let down yet again
