I can't remember a season where Milan, Inter, and Roma all dropped points on the first matchday. It was almost too good to be true. Milan look very dangerous with Ronaldinho but he lacks the speed Kaka has. I think against a decent defense, Ronaldinho can easilly be cancelled out. Zambrotta looked rather impressive for most of the game, he was one of Milan's better players.

I might be wrong about this one because i didn't pay much attention at the time and i only thought of it.......but did Zambrotta (who played brilliant when Milan attacked) leave his side open all the time, which allowed Zenoni and Di Vaio to be free most of the time ?

I'm talking about the second half when he played as LB. In the first half Jankulovski was running forward and Zambrotta was playing more defensively and he was covering his side well, but when they went all attack his side was unguarded at all.

If this is the case then teams must pay more attention to this and use this weakness.

Believe me, getting all the stars in the world will barely help their cause as much as empty their wallets. Inter already have a star-filled squad, yet they still play like shit. The same goes for Milan today, one Milan player's paycheck is at least three times more than any other player from the newly promoted Bologna. Milan lost 2-1.

It's not the team with the greatest number of stars that wins championships, it's the team that has the most perfect balance relative to it's rivals that wins championships.

Wow! Milan, Inter, Roma all teams that had "superior" mercato than us, lost some important points. It seems that we are doomed!!!

good signing for inter, another winger was all they needed anyway. Interesting start to the league, with all the big teams dropping points.
