Agree, but there are other much more complicated things in Georgian which doesn't allow you for ex. to use the words with the same logic for each sentence

"We were robbed of the chance to fight for the scudetto till the end" would be much more appropriate but that's not as good excuse for not winning a scudetto for almost 20 years as "we were robbed of the scudetto" is.
