Drogba Rocks Chelsea By Agreeing Milan Move

Didier Drogba has agreed a summer move to AC Milan, according to The Mirror, which claims the Chelsea striker will sign a three-year deal with Rossoneri in order to link up again with former Blues manager Jose Mourinho, whom the paper says will be replacing Carlo Ancelotti for next season.

Chelsea’s title-decider against Bolton Wanderers on Sunday could be Didier Drogba's last for the club in the Premier League if a report in The Mirror is accurate. It claims the Ivorian striker has agreed to join AC Milan this summer.

However, Drogba, 30, still has two years left to run on his £80,000-a-week contract at Stamford Bridge, and Chelsea manager Avram Grant is not making any comment on the situation until he holds talks with the player at the end of a season in which the Blues could yet win a remarkable double.

Moreover, Milan sporting director Ariedo Braida earlier this week admitted that his club were unlikely to sign Drogba this summer and that the player may stay with the Blues.

Nevertheless, the latest story is hardly the best preparation for tomorrow's Premier League showdown with Bolton, which could sse Chelsea crowned as champions if they win while Manchester United draw or lose at Wigan.

The Mirror's report says Drogba has agreed to sign a three-year contract and link up again with his former boss at Stamford Bridge, Jose Mourinho, who is said to be lined up as Carlo Ancelotti's replacement at the San Siro.

The newspaper adds that Chelsea want Drogba, who has had a strained relationship with coaching staff and team-mates since Mourinho left, to "stay and form a partnership with Nicolas Anelka, and will demand at least £15million for the Ivory Coast striker."

Cech In 25m Transfer Link

The agent of Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has claimed that an unnamed European club are set to bid around 25 million pound for the services of the custodian

Pavel Zika, speaking to Czech newspaper Pravo, said that another 10 clubs have been inquiring about the availability of Cech.

The agent also went on to add that negotiations will take place at the end of the current campign to improve the terms of the Czech international’s contract.

The announcement of the alleged interest from a European side could be seen as an attempt to introduce a bargaining chip into contract negations as it is well known that Cech is enjoying his time in London and is unlikely to depart.

Zika said: "I know quite a large European club is ready to pay over 30 million euros for Petr Cech. It is an important sum for a goalkeeper. At the end of the season, we will consider the current contract of Petr and see whether we can improve it."

The identity of the club remains unclear, but both Barcelona and Milan are known to be looking for new number ones after putting Victor Valdes and Dida on the transfer list respectively.

Its going to be much harder for Inter now that Cambiasso is out, i really hope they lose the title for their classless acts with Hleb.

Problem is, i dont think Roma are going to win, Sicilians are always a tough nut to crack at home.

should be "classless acts."

anyway it won't be easy but i dont see them losing against parma.Parma just don't have enough fire power, but its one game and their season is riding on it so anything can happen.

Even though our part in the entire show yesterday was small, I still loved it. Del Piero basically saved Parma and invited them to win against Inter. This way it'll be very, very hard for those wankers. They're already shit against a no good Siena side with nothing to play for, let alone against a team that is battling against relegation.

If Roma win the scudetto, we'll see reports of Siena being paid off the very next day by the way. Good luck with that escape route, Massimo.

Next week Roma will lose while Inter will draw.

Materazzi probably had the worst game of his entire career. The poor guy blocks a sure goal from Cruz then misses a penalty. Mancini said he likes to see the title being won in a 'down to the wire' race. He'll get what he wants.

:agree: that referee was blatantly favouring Inter...their players were literally shoving Siena players off the ball, and no fouls were given...and the penalty? gimme a fuckin' break...Matrix was trying to French kiss Rigano!
