Ok here is what Couto is saying:
“I got the ball with my head and as it went past it glanced against my hand, but it was barely any contact and certainly not intentional,” said the defender.
IT's Called a penalty!!!

It's not a penalty.
Couto headed the ball towards his hand, not intentionally.
He himself headed the ball, he didn't handballed Ibra's shot directly. And after he headed it the ball wasn't going towards the goal anymore.

You are cheaters !

Just joking :p

It wasn't a penalty Karim and certainly not a red card. Just like the penalties given to Inter in last 2 matches were extremely dubious.
These things always happened and will happen. But you Inter fans never wanted to admit that in Moggi time and now when the same thing happens to Inter you all find every possible excuse.

Guys, be understanding, the guy Couto came out and said it hit his hands, that tells it all, even to his coach, and by the way, the feeling you must have when u felt it was an unfair win, welcome to the club that we are part of for the past 15+years or so

my god we saw your first 5 posts saying that it was a penalty. Do you think if i come in an inter forum and say that Inter are fags and give facts five times people are going to believe me?????

The ball was going out, the hand was there as in a diving header you have to put your hand out. Inter got lucky, for only the 18th time this season be proud. And when you win the scudetto at the end of the year don't forget to congratulate the refs ;)

Yes, true. Now we know how you felt.
Now only for you to see how we felt in serie B and everything will be fair and square. ;)

Man :D look, wether the ball hit him intentionally or unintentionally, he benefited form the ball getting out of goal, it would have been a goal if it weren't for his hands, in this case it is a penalty, the red card is harsh, but that's the rule

You contradict yourself. You say It wasn't a penalty and then you say welcome to the club of feelings. The feelings that you guys felt all this time. So what's your point.

1- You guys cheated and you're proud of it because thats so called revenge.

2- You guys didn't cheat and you admit that we didn't cheat before.

Try not to contradict yourself in this forums. We're alot smarter than the Inter forums, and I'm being modest when I say that:)

I don't think anyone can accuse me of paranoia. My posts in the Calciopoli thread make this very clear. But the way this season is going for Inter. Honestly, I'm simply disgusted by it all. Perhaps I should take a break from Serie A. Moratti and his whining is simply too much at a point where Inter are getting ALL decisions in their favour.

I would have been willing to accept all of this before Calciopoli. But in this post Calciopoli era it is extremely unlikely that one side would receive constant benefit without some sort of scheme behind it. Seriously, I'm not buying this bullshit anymore.

after today's performance we can for get him, we want shitty players. :burke:
He impressed me today, and that shot for the equaliser was just fantastic

It hit his hand, after he headed it to go out, and he said it glanced his hand, and anyone with a pair of eyes that work can see the ball DID NOT CHANGE DIRECTION after 'touching his hand'. Thus whether his hand was there or not it would have gone out for a corner
The only club you've been in for the history of your pathetic team is the PLA, or simply known as the Professional Losers Association.

The Couto play is just one of a series of terrible referee-driven outcomes in matches this season, let alone this weekend. The league officiating is rightfully a laughing stock among other competitive leagues right now.

The man himself admited that the ball touched his hand but it touched it when the ball was already going out of the goal.
Firstly he cleared it with his head so it wouldn't go to the goal and only then it touched his hand when it wasn't going in anymore.

Or at least that's how i understood what he said. I may be wrong though.

Anyway, i don't really mind Inters win tonight. Your team will surely win the scudetto even without any ref help.
But the same thing was happening in the past and you Inter fans still claim that we robbed something from you even though you were usually 20+ points behind us.

Check this Alen, I checked the FIFA Official Rule Book page: 36 under Sending off offences
http://www.fifa.com/mm/document/affederation/federation/laws_of_the_game_0708_10565.pdf

"A player, substitute or substituted player is sent off and shown the red
card if he commits any of the following seven offences:
- denies an obvious goalscoring opportunity to an opponent moving
towards the player’s goal by an offence punishable by a free kick
or a penalty kick"

Alen,

count the points Inter have been gifted by referees. I think you might be surprised.

And there's a reason behind it. It aren't just awful calls. They all go one way, greg.

Where did I contradict myself, I said that when YOU though that it was an unfair ruling, you must have felt what we INter fans have felt for the past 15+ years, I didn't say it was an unfair ruling ;)
I guess you aren't as smart as Inter fans, and I am being modest when I say that ;)

There is not a single season in Juventus history in which Juventus have been gifted so much points by referees as Inter this season.

But Couto headed it away from goal before the ball brushed his hand, so it was NOT a goal scoring opportunity
