imagine ancelotti and rijkaard getting fired at their respective clubs. do you think milan would rather get rijkaard or mourinho ? maybe even van basten.

i think this is an exciting issue for juve too, as i don't want mourinho at another italian club.

anyway milan is a romantic club so i think/hope berlusconi would rather opt for rijkaard

Galliani Cannot Explain Difference Home And Away

Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani was in the stands as the Rossoneri secured yet another victory away from home in Serie A.

Goals from Alberto Gilardino and Andrea Pirlo earned Milan a 2-1 win over Cagliari this afternoon, their fourth away victory out of six in the championship.

This is in direct contrast to the Rossoneri's home form, as Carlo Ancelotti's men have still yet to win at San Siro in the league, drawing four, losing two, and scoring just three goals.

"Away from home we have more points than Inter, however at home we have never won," Galliani told Sky Sport Italia. "The incredible gap between our form at home and abroad has continued today."

Galliani was also asked about the club's plans for the January transfer window, with some sources in Italy claiming that the signature of Palermo striker Amauri has already been secured.

"Pato will be coming in January. It is not true that we have already got Amauri," said Galliani. "We are not talking about the market because we still have the month of December to come."

Milan face an away trip to Lisbon to face Benfica in the Champions League on Wednesday, before the much-awaited home Serie A clash with Juventus next weekend.

Good second half of the Milan - Cagliari game. I didn't think that Milan were aided by the refs, it looked an even game in terms of who got which decisions. Second goal was a big blunder by the goalie, he should feel hard done by. Gilardino has 5 goals this season I have noticed, he has started gaining some consistency. Hopefully he has come over the expectation poured onto him by the fans and he is showing what can be done with his talent.

Interesting times, udinese are up there with others, milan will get better after the holidays, i am pretty sure about that. But if viola and udinese keep it up, it could turn out to be very interesting who really gets CL ticket.

Milan's schedule in next 25 days:

November 28: Benfica A
December 1 : Juventus at H
December 4: Celtic at H
December 9 : Reggina A
December 13: World Club Championship semifinal
December 16: World Club Championship final or 3rd place match
December 18: Livorno at H
December 20:Catania at H (Coppa)
December 23:Inter A

9 matches in 25 days

What a shame the match against us wasn't the one in December 23rd.
Looks like Inter will kill Milan on that match.

Thats pretty tough.

One day between games?
The Livorno match was originally scheduled for December 16 but because they have World club ch. they rescheduled it for the 18th but my guess is they will not play this match and reschedule it again for January.

Nevertheless, it will be tough for them even with 8 matches in 25 days. It's 1 match every 3rd day.

That would seem the fairest way to do it.

It would be good if Milan got a rest before the Inter game so they can do us a favour.

I'll pick my favorite in Milano derby 1 week before that match, when i'll know the situation in the standings. Milan is chasing the 4th place while we're chasing Inter for scudetto. It's hard to chose. Most will chose Milan but i simply can not cheer for them so my choice on that match will probably be a draw and 10 injured players. :D

Only in case we have +10 points advantage over Milan i wouldn't mind them winning.
Us beating Milan, Inter and Milan losing points in their next 2-3 matches while we win our matches and then Milan to beat Inter.... that's acceptable and that's the only way i'll cheer for Milan :p
