But seriously, both of them were in similar situations, they were on top of the world in Milan. Sheva left for silly reasons, if Kaka does so it will be to seek new challenges. For a player of his qualities, La Liga is something he doesn't wanna miss on in his career and Madrid is probably the best destination for him. If anything I see Kaka as the new Zidane case, certainly not Shevchenko.

I think you need to take their ages into account too.Kaka is 25.While Shevchenko was hitting 30 when he left for Milan.I dont think anyone could have expected him to get any better at that stage.Kaka however,can get better.Wether he actually does become better is another story.

First Shevchenko,and now Kaka.If anything,this gives Serie A a bad image when arguably the best player in the world chooses to leave because of security fears.Thats a lame excuse ofcourse,but you expect the press to take it that way?Hell no.I understand the anti-Milan sentiment when it comes to Kaka,and yes it would benefit Juventus as a club because Milan will become weaker,but it would give a reason to the Serie A haters to further degrade the league.One of the league's biggest attractions leaving for foriegn lands is NOT good when you think in terms fo the league itself.

Kaka is not shit, well literally he is but I never called him that, and he's one of my favourite players.

No way he's leaving this soon, this may have just been a warning for the fans because they'll accept warning from the star players sooner then they'll accept it from the FA. Please, he's afraid for his family in Italy? Then he was seriously shitting his pants while he was in Brasil where a fan dies once per week minimum. This was just an empty threat from Kaka, probably blown out of proportions too.

But I do agree with you, if he somehow would leave because of these riots, that would definetly be a bad sign for Serie A.
