I haven't decided yet, I usually like to go by the end of the season when the weather gets warm. If my economy helps the coming season I'd sneak another game probably. I'll keep everyone updated, don't worry.

Cavani eyes Scudetto

Palermo striker Edison Cavani has hailed the Rosanero as Scudetto challengers this season.

The Sicilian club finished in fifth place in the Serie A table last term, but had started their campaign in excellent form. They kept pace with Inter at the top in the early stages before their season was derailed by the lengthy injury suffered by top scorer Amauri. "We can challenge for the Scudetto," insisted Cavani. "This Palermo side is excellent and can compete at the highest level. Maybe we can win it and maybe we can't, but we will fight."

New signing Giulio Migliaccio is also confident the Rosanero can succeed beyond expectations this year thanks to Coach Stefano Colantuono, whom the midfielder followed from Atalanta this summer. "I know him and his staff very well and I am sure that the training we are undergoing now will be useful, as proved by Atalanta's performances last year," explained Migliaccio. "Our attitude will be Palermo's main strength and will help this team increase its quality."

Unrealistic, just wishful thinking by a new player.

Claudio Ranieri's Juventus will have the eyes of Italy on them as they play the Saturday evening game on Serie A's Matchday 1. That is, of course, after Lazio welcome Torino...

The Toro will travel to Rome to face Lazio in this season's Serie A curtain-raiser.

The exact timings for all Matchday 1 games were just announced, and both Turin sides are involved on the Saturday.

First, Torino, who struggled greatly last season, will visit high-flying Lazio for the early kickoff.

Then, Juventus, freshly promoted from their Serie B adventure, will welcome a Lucarelli-less Livorno to the northern city.

Milan and Inter will both kick off the season with a regular 3pm kickoff on Sunday, while the late-night TV game at 8:30pm sees capital club Roma travel to Sicily to face Palermo.

The match lineup is as follows (all times local):

Saturday, August 25
Lazio - Torino (18:00)
Juventus - Livorno (20:30)
Sunday, August 26
Fiorentina - Empoli (15:00)
Genoa - Milan (15:00)
Inter - Udinese (15:00)
Napoli - Cagliari (15:00)
Parma - Catania (15:00)
Reggina - Atalanta (15:00)
Siena - Sampdoria (15:00)
Palermo - Roma (20:30)

Which end would you go in? Juve or Milan?
No idea, if there is a neutral area we'll go there, but we might go 2 juventini and 2 milanisti, so maybe we would split up, but the atmosphere would be awesome. I'm getting goosebumps thinking about it.
