I actially honesty believe Inter could do very well next season, I personally think it's going to be them or Milan who win next season, they'll have more desire then Juve next season, and that means alot.
If Inter doesn't monkey with their system too much and sticks to things for a bit to develop, I would totally agree with you. However, Inter has the patience of an alcoholic with a pea-sized bladder. 99 times out of 100, they can be counted on to find some ovrezealous way to completely f%$# it up.

But I agree that hunger has something to do with Scudetto success. Milan had it last season when we slacked off. Vice versa this season.

Well, if we concentrate on Europe like I hope and pray we will, Juve will not win the Scudetto next season. If Inter can beat Roma and win the Coppa Italia the sleeping giants might just come back to life next term, and really make a move for the Scudetto compared to the past couple years. If they lose the Coppa, then God can't even save that club now. ;)

that is quite a bit premature dont you think.. i mean summer transfer is still in the loom.. and the coaches still playing with their own tactics now..and new players will come and old ones will go.. coppa italia is nothing but pride..

I see the Coppa Italia as a make or break trophy for Inter. If they win it, confidence will start coming back to Inter and that is something every winning side needs. But if they lose the Coppa, you will see a lot of sad Interisti faces and perhaps they'll think it's more than just hard times.

Plus, Adriano says he will try to leave if Inter fail to win anything in the next year.

the media twisted his words...I read an interview with him yesterday denying that he said that...

But I think you are right Coppa is a MUST for inter or the team and fans will be severly demoralized

Udinese man David Pizarro has invited Inter to make an offer, but the club is also close to capturing Real’s Santiago Solari.

Pizarro has been eager to leave the Stadio Friuli for a bigger side for over a year now, but no adequate bids were received over the summer.

“I hope that Udinese will reward me for my hard work by letting me leave before my contract expires in 2007,” the Chilean midfielder told newspapers in his homeland. “If I had a choice of destination, then I’d like to join Inter.”

The player will turn 26 years of age in September and has been at the Stadio Friuli for six seasons, but he has been heavily linked with Roma, Juventus and Inter.

This week Udinese confirmed they would release any of their stars if an adequate offer was tabled, so Pizarro’s dream could come true.

Right now, Inter are looking at other transfer targets, as it’s reported that Santiago Solari is just days away from completing his move to the San Siro.

Originally part of the Ronaldo deal, Solari has been on the wish-list for several years and is now ready to leave Real Madrid. It’s claimed he has an agreement with the Spanish club allowing him to move on for just £1.4m, although his contract doesn’t expire until 2008.

The Argentine winger would provide the kind of coverage on the left side of midfield that Roberto Mancini’s side has been so sorely lacking this season.

Though I gotta say, it's almost a back-handed compliment to be called "Mister Coppa Italia" as the RAI announcers were calling Roberto Mancini (given his 4 Coppa titles as a player and two, to date, as a coach).
