Oohh so that's what Hungarian and Finnish relate to. I knew they related to each other and not to any other European language but I didn't know they related to Turkish (although technically speaking also a European language), Mongolian, Korean and Japanese.
Estonian belongs to that group too.

e: but hell, I can't understand a word of Korean nor Turkish... Estonian at least sounds familiar...

I did enjoy Turkey. I was there on a one month trip. We arrived through the Balkans in Istanbul, stayed there for 3 days, the followed the coast of the Black sea (Kara Deniz) until Rize, then back south to the Agri Dagi and the Van Gölü, the Ataturk Baraj, Nemrut Dagi,... And then back west though Antalya, Marmaris, Kas, and then we took the Ferry to Italy in Cesme.

I had a great time there, the Turks ( and the Kurds) are very friendly and the hospitality is unbelievable.

I did go to Istanbul. The first three days.

I enjoyed the East most. As the west coast was too touristic for me.

When you see how hard life is for the people in the east, you're a bit disgusted when you see these fat german (no offence) tourists semi naked on the beaches of Marmaris.

    did it?
Yeah cos i was looking forward for that game all week and I made sure nothing cheated me from missing that, including death!! They have this dutch bar by the sea front it was rammed with Ajax fans and I was the only Juventino in there watching from the giant screen, as that was the only bar showing the game. When Neddy curled that shit with the outside of his boot, my god did i make a racket! I kept shouting ''Did u see that shit''!?!?!? Did you!!?? ha. still makes me laugh now, but the dutch were such great sports bout it, (me being in there faces and all!)
