I don't want to hear anything about "if Palestinians wanted peace..." anymore now.

Knesset votes overwhelmingly against Palestinian statehood, days before PM’s US trip

https://www.timesofisrael.com/kness...alestinian-statehood-days-before-pms-us-trip/
Of course they are against it. Why did you think otherwise?

Would they wanted peace events would be very different. Then again Israel`s government isnt what a government should be (unfortunately).

You make it sounds like a simple solution Israel will give the relevant land to Palestine, they would smile and say thank you and they will live happily ever after but its really way more than that.

This could have been the case during Rabin`s days but nowadays both sides are way too poisoned.
Palestinians are taught to hate and are educated to kill Israelis while on the other side you have idiots like Ben Gvir and Smotric who rather see flame and fire than reach any sort of agreement.

There is much more into this whole saga than you think you know.

Agreed with everything. How does it look from the inside, though? Is there any chance to get rid of those two morons and alike in the nearest future?

I really hope so but our politics is dirty from the inside IMO. I dont even want to share my thought about what caused this whole thing to begin with.
Netanyahu while I want him gone as well at least has brain inside of him. These other two are jokes for me and shouldnt even get a microphone to express their opinions publicly.
The thing is with the whole thing getting to a higher boiling point, a big war is inevitable. I really hope Im wrong but I also highly doubt it at the moment.
Israel vs Hamas and then there is Hizeballah not to mention some missiles from Yemen (in which the prime minister is correct in saying they are a tool of Iran).

So I hope so but the chances of new elections when the state is in the middle of a war that is probably going to be even bigger - Unlikely.

Sucks. It looks like the whole thing keeps spiraling out of control, and there are no grown-ups in the room. Is there any vision of how the current cabinet sees the war end? Like the initial goal is to destroy Hamas, I think, is it still a declared objective?

After killing tens of thousands they are probably still "defending".
So if a regular kid trying to beat the strongest kid and ends up being beaten - Is it the stronger kid`s fault?
When there are attacks and people get hurt its definitely be the weaker side getting most of the damage - this is nothing new.

Now there is a war and as much as I dont like this situations there is a simple logic - Return the hostages or "we will"- Hamas could easily return the hostages who are civilians by the way not some IDF soldiers. Yet they dont give a crap about their own people as they think the war is more important than their own people get food for instance (which Israel provides BTW).

Now go twist my words like that other guy who highlighted the words rather than ask why some and not all.

Yes as far as I know. I actually try to stay away from news nowadays since I dont like what is happening and I expect it to get worse so its not the type of being right that makes you smile.

So you think if regular kid tries to beat up somebody it's totally right if stronger kid kills 100k people to return the favor? And huge chunk of those are actually kids. Unless your government shows you fariytales on the TV.

It would be like the stronger kid blinding and maiming the smaller kid because he started a fight with him.

But the analogy doesn't really work anyway as this didn't all begin last October with Hamas.

"Now there is a war" part makes no sense. They simply went in to wipe off everyone that's in their way. Well of course there's a bloody war now, they are comiting a genocide.

You took it back to numbers. I just wanted to say the stronger one isnt at fault as a default.
I wonder why my government show fairytails but you news source gives the absolute truth as from what I have seen some of you got the wrong piece of media.

When you go against an enemy that prevents civilians from leaving just so they can present the images needed for them to make Israel worse than they are (not saying my country is clean as a whistle).

I feel bad for the innocent ones that were killed but you make it like Israel targeted babies which is even illogical to think that while on the other side Hamas actually killed babies but maybe your beloved media source didnt mention all this up.

This is why I called it ignorance to begin with. People just make their mind set on something they have no idea about. What is the problem saying I really dont know what is going on? Is it really that hard.

The tension regarding Gaza - No, its started a way way back.
The current doing in Gaza - Definitely October!

Some say if you repeat things many times you might truly believe it - Yet it doesnt make it true.. Let me guess your news source told you they are.

Our media are pro Israel.

In many European countries negationism regarding the Holocaust is a crime and there are harsh penalties for antisemites.

Everyone is walking on eggshells when it comes to Jews in Western Europe.

So when these same media start reporting on what can only be described as a genocide, we must assume it is far, far worse than what they're saying.

Stop crying.

YOU are the aggressor.

YOU are the Nazis.

Yep, we are in July. Those talking points would fly maybe in December when you could "but they started..." or "it's part of war" on every criticism of war crimes.

But we are litterally in 9th month. There's no sweeping it under the rug or rhetorically deflecting it anymore. After all this time its way too blatant and obvious to call it for anything else but what it is. Aggressive and heinous genocide.
