Difference is that Judaism's itself motivating to killing and stealing, there is no need for extra motivation other than passages from Torah. but in Islam you can't kill ordinary people, even in a war there are rules you can't violate.
“He who kills a soul unless it be (in legal punishment) for murder or for causing disorder and corruption on the earth will be as if he had killed all humankind; and he who saves a life will be as if he had saved the lives of all humankind” (Maeda 5:32)
“If one amongst the pagans ask thee for asylum, grant it to him, so that he may hear the word of God; and then escort him to where he can be secure. That is because they are men without knowledge” (Quran 9:6)

"He who does not show mercy to others will not be shown mercy". (Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)
“The merciful are shown mercy by the All-Merciful. Show mercy to those on earth, and He Who is in heaven will show mercy unto you” (As-Suyuti).
i can find hundreds of verses and hadiths about showing mercy, especially about importance of children life. Don't come up with suicide bombings or such a thing because you know it can't be justified in Islam for obvious reasons.
if you watch that video it says gentile children are animals so they could be killed. Even hunting for fun is banned in Islam. you can't kill an animal which you won't eat. Even sharpening your blade in front of animal is forbidden.
“Have you not heard that I have cursed anyone who brands an animal on its face or who hits it on its face?” (Saheeh Muslim).
Difference is obvious for those who are not prejudiced.

I have far too little knowledge on religious litterature to get into such a debate, but you either missed or ignored my main argument.

Fanatics from both sides however probably don't mind regardless of what their holy text says. You need to see what is rather than what should be.

Breaking news: Palestinians killed in checkpoint incident
A vehicle carrying Palestinian workers has flipped over west of Jerusalem (al-Quds), leaving 5 Palestinians killed and 15 others injured.
Israeli police forces made an attempt to stop the vehicle near Modi'in checkpoint, causing the driver to lose control and skidding off the road, Ma'an News Agency reported late on Thursday.
The wounded were transferred to the Tel Hashomer Hospital in Tel Aviv, the report said. Medical sources at the hospital said that the number of deaths was likely to rise as some of the injured were in a critical condition.
All of the workers inside the vehicle were reportedly from the West Bank city of Qalqiliya.

I think the term martyr is used a bit too loosely in this case, as in many cases. Martyr generally implies some sort of renouncement of religious or political belief, a defiance of something. A lot of innocent people die with no intention what-so-ever of martyrdom. I think Mr. El-Durra just wanted to protect his boy, so instead of martyr I will refer to him as a hero.
