And there it is, the Turkish propaganda machine and the ideology behind it. I was waiting for it. Thank you Turk for showing it to all of us.
President Gul was positive about the campaign, positive in a way that he said everyone is free to express their own opinion. You know how some idiots reacted Eddy? They claimed that Gul's mother is an Armenian..

They made a movie about Ataturk, and called it Mustafa. They said you can't call a great person like Ataturk just Mustafa, that's a disrespect!! They claimed the producer of the movie is an Armenian. In the same movie, the producer used worldwide famous Balkan musician Goran Bregovic. They also claimed him to be Armenian, that's because his work took part of this "insulting" movie. You know why they claim it is "insulting"? Because it shows the human part of Ataturk, while we all know Ataturk is not a human, he is a God!!

Sad to see you be part of this Turk..

The way I see it there are two options:

a) Both parties finally truly get together and work out a solution that is possible for both. And not some bullshit like Palestinians being third grate citizens in a bigger state of Israel. A party such as Hamas does not help reach this goal. If your argument is that Israel should disappear, you're not getting closer to an agreement.
I really believe the only way to solve the issue is to create 2 states. Palestine and Israel. That's basically the only compromise each side would make. It would be pointless to ask Israelis to leave the Middle East because they won't. It would be terrible to ask Palestinian to keep living like second class citizens. The only way to stop the violence is to separate the two.

I read about how they claimed Gul's mother is an Armenian weeks ago. I showed it to one of my best friends who is a Palestinian and he laughed his ass off and we joked about it for a bit. Thinking about it now, it's just racist. You can't get any more racist than that.

That's my thoughts exactly, and yet some people get offended by it

It's not exactly fair. That's what bothers people. But they don't realize that compromise is not fair.
It's not fair I know, but it is the closest to the fair.. And I am afraid that's the only solution, both sides should sacrifice and put the history behind.

Israel clearly does not want that looking at a chart of Palestinian land lost, so if this could work, it would have worked already I'm afraid.
