The thing that most of the world doesn't know is that after less than 24 hours of now, Abbas will be no more Palestinian president. He won't represent anything after 9/1/2008 as his ruling period ends.

The mobile messages spreading now in the Middle East says:

"Congrats. Another American product will expire after less than 24 hours".

    Breaking news:

The Israeli government said it just started its third stage of operations. They bombed many police offices, and they are trying now to occupy the middle area of Gaza strip called Qarara and Khan Younes.
And soon to storm Gaza City, where they will get their wish of maximizing the number of casualties for both sides.

So apparently the IDF is trying to cut Gaza into not only three, but four slices, exactly where Jewish settlements are located, according to one analyst.

This will hinder the exchange of needed supplies to flow from city to city, with probably Gaza City being hurt the most, if I understand where most of the goods come from.

    Here we go...

    Rockets hit Israel 'from Lebanon'

At least three rockets fired from the direction of Lebanon have landed in the north of Israel, Israeli security forces say.

Israel's Haaretz newspaper said at least one rocket had hit the Nahariya area, north of the city of Haifa.

At least two people were slightly wounded, the newspaper reported.
The news came as Israel reported making 60 air strikes on the Gaza Strip in a single night, targeting facilities used by the Hamas group.

Northern Israel came under attack from rockets fired by Hezbollah during the brief war with Lebanon in the summer of 2006. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the latest attack.

The BBC's Mike Sergeant in Jerusalem says this is a very dangerous moment in Israel's conflict.

The fear in the past few days has been that the violence in Gaza could spread to northern Israel and the Lebanese border area.

    Exactly, Andy.

For example, all the vegetables come from the south of Gaza, and isolating Gaza city will make it without vegetables.

By the way, before around 1 hour, a new development happened by launching 5 rockets from south Lebanon to North Israel. It is not clear who did that, but personally I think it is wrong.

They paid the bill! but fcking Putin more than doubled price for gas :)

I dont think that its not obvious that Russia with its government is the worst thing on planet.

They can do everything. Dont be surprised if they supply weapons to Hamas.
They are capable of doing Ugliest things. Imperialists.

And PUTIN & MEDVEDEV :) ... no comment...

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Europe was too soft at times critisizing Russia! NOW they got up in their ass! NO GAS SUPPLY at all... who would've thought ;)

I don't know about that Ahmed... following their embarassment in 2006, i don't think they'll stop this killing until they capture/kill someone whom they can parade later...

    :D

Anyway, it seems the rockets fired from Lebanon today was fired by a Palestinian organization, but this is not sure. It maybe PFLP - very close to Syria.

I still think it was wrong though.

That was my biggest fear in this whole thing. I really didn't want them to start anything because we all know how the IDF replies. Hezbolla will never learn :sigh:

I don't think it is Hezbollah as the rockets are so old and not accurate according to Israelis. Some minister in Lebanon called Metri I guess said too that Hezbollah told him they are not responsible.
