For the Arab speakers here, anyone listening to BBC Radio in Arabic? I had a 2 hour road-trip today, so I was listening to BBC world service (Arabic version) the whole time.

There is a clear split between the Palestinians. Of course, they all hate Israel; but not all of them are pro-Hamas.

The pro-Hamas believe that Hamas should fight back and defend Palestine for honor and dignity, since there is nothing left to lose, and that the women and children are dying an honorable martyr's death.

The anti-Hamas believe that name of Palestine has been dragged down to the lowest of lows; the civilians are dying for no reason and that the outcome of this war will do nothing for the Palestinian cause.

One caller from Gaza completely lost it screaming on the phone saying,

"Why do russians, germans, americans, ethiopians all go to Israel and get an Israeli nationality; while myself, my parents, my grand parents, and great grand parents who were ALL born in Palestine don't get to have a recognised nationality? Who the hell is supposed to represent me? I live in Germany, Kuwait, Canada, USA, the Gulf. Nobody would even consider to give me a nationality even. 2) They did not kill "whoever they wanted." In war, of course you kill the adversary, but the Nazis hunted down and killed mostly: Jews, Gypsies, Blacks, and Eastern Europeans. As they felt they were lower than them and needed to be extinguished from the Earth because they were at the bottom of the gene pool.

3) Israel would not "gladly" kill every Muslim in the world, to believe this is to say that every Muslim would "gladly" kill every Jew, which is not true.

I dont like Hamas, but do you EVEN know what drives them to fire those rockets? They are daily stealing their land and basic need to live (even in the few Palestinian lands left, Israeli settlers own all the water), caging in them like slaves in their tiny desloate lands (where the israelis controll every single thing), basically wanting to slowly cut down the "arab demographic" so they can be easier to controll and take over completely, and make all of it Israeli land and without the "threat" of arab majority population (Thats the direct goal of Israels govt, they actually said too many arab babies are being borned, we have to stop that somehow...).

I mean, do you actually think the problem will stop just because Hamas stops firing rockets? I dont like their methods and their set goal because its counterproductive, but they are DEFENITELY not the big crook of this neverending dilemma. If they dont do nothing and just try to oppose politically, they will just be toothless after beign punched around all the time from Israel. Israel would just continue fucking them everyone covertly (they control EVERY aspect of their life basically, and have ZERO intentions to do anything but harm the palestinians), til Palestinians turns to dusts.

If they only function politically, they only turn into another puppets like Abbas and his little govt, say they want peace to get handouts from their westerns overlords, and corruptly live off those handouts while doing shit for the Palestinian peoples who's everyday live is getting and will get worse and worse. Israel dont need to condead shit in nay treaty or pacts, until actual and real demands are made on them from international community.
