There are some die hards who want the Mass to go back to Aramaic. But by and large, any system or organization that refuses to adopt to its times -- whether that's modern accountability and transparency -- is doomed to eventual failure.

Yeah the FIGC as spastics all right.

The Church will never change, they're the large thief of artefacts and wealth in history, they should have their assets seized in Ireland and be forced to rent them from the state at an extortionate rate.

That will never happen and it wont solve the problem, a problem can only be fixed from within, man inherently is corruptible and until man chooses to fix itself it can not be fixed

AC is right there. The challenge the Church has is that it's made a longtime business out of infallibility. Or at least the impression of higher authority. So it has every incentive to keep telling us "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. I am the great Oz!"

The modern model today is that everybody, because we are all human, screws up at some time or other. Not "screw up" in the way of raping and torturing children, but more screwing up in mismanaging the response in a horrible way. We've seen Rupert Murdoch drop his invincible armor once he had Edelman public relations come in and tell him the playbook for how best to handle crisis communications humbly when mistakes are made and discovered. The Church still acts as if it is not subject to that, which ultimately is going to render it all the more irrelevant in society.

It wouldn't solve the problem but I'm not interested in solving the problem, I'm interested in Justice for Ireland and seeing as many of these Daemons are already dead we should take all their money.

Were are talking about systematic law breaking up until as recently as 2008, as a citizen, I demand justice.

Such as? They're not going to get another country to declare war on us and they can't get Italy to do anything financially to us.

An illegal indemnity deal was signed with them for 128M and since then the state has paid 1Bn in costs and compensation. One gigantic Civil Suit is being spit-balled here and I'm all for it. One way or another, we can't let them get away with this.
