i had the G1 and its a great device. its a bit on the bulky side but its far better than any other touch screen 3G smart phone out there. and trust me, i go through mobile phones like girls go through shoes

the OS

the phone itself is made by HTC and is called the Dream but its the google OS called Android that makes it the best out there

Android allows open handset app development whereas the iphone is propietary to apple development, etc..

i'm not keen on the n96, i have an n95 atm and the n96 just seems like a slicker version, not really much of an improvement, g1 however seems very intruiging

nah n96 is far better, better battery, better applications, more memory. the n95 was more of a beta version

exactly........just slicker and polished, there are no real new features, camera is the same for god sake, 5mpxl, what the hell have nokia been doing the past year? i really don't feel it's worth it

sony erikssons got the best camera eventhough in lower pxl frame. i personally like the name call of the person ringing me, then i know to cancel the call

i hate sony erikssons!!:sick: i'd rather get the nokia n96, it's not that i dislike the n96, it's just i don't think it's amazing.....

i hate sony's as a phone but i like the cybershot technology, gotta love the little flip out stand u get with the n96 - neat watching top gear on the train home

T mobile now. O2 (who i was with for 5 years, and trying to hassle me for money over my dad's contract which i tried to cancel a billion times) wanted me to pay 300 quid for the n69 plus less minutes and texts than any other network, T mobile did the mobile for free, unlimited txt 800 mins and free internet for 35 quid a month.
i had a look at the tocco look sleak but i kinda went off samsungs after owning 3

none so far, they've been good, but their internatinal policy is a joke, i got charged around £200 for using my phone for about 20-30 mins in dubai in october, piss take
