Well I run the program and wait until it tells me to unlock it and hit the absinth app, which I do and then I get the “Wait for absinthe to complete…” page. After around 30 seconds, it says “Didn’t work? Try this: 1. Tap 'Jailbreak’ to open the Settings Application and turn on the VPN named 'Jailbreak’.

I tap the big green glowing “Jailbreak” button below it, and it gives an error popup:
“Cannot Open Absinthe. Absinthe could not be opened. The error was “The URL can’t be shown”.

do you have iOS 5.0.1? how did you update with iTunes? What iTunes version do you have?

You might need to make a manual restore with shift+restore and load the ipsw manually.

Yes I have iOS 5.0.1 and I didn't use iTunes because I didn't download the ipsw. Only downloaded the absinthe program which jailbreaks automatically.

Yeah, I know that one, that's the one I used for my 4S.

If you have your iPad with a pass lock, disable it while you make the process, several people have had the process and a restore has solved it.

I actually tried that and it didn't work. Restored it and tried to jailbreak it as a new device. Weird.
