He appears to be doing much better than expected. I think his team mates can use the distraction and I'm sure the scenes after the game will be filled with love and humanity.

They would've obviously discussed this through with the players and staff and taken a final call. Let's not be quick to jump to conclusions in thinking UEFA are pushing for the game to continue or something.

This also probably means Eriksen is out of any serious danger which is good news ofcourse.

Even if Eriksen is in a good state and the players want to continue, the match should be canceled obviously. UEFA should take their responsibility.

Players are obviously not in the best mental state, and its a good moment to make a statement; health is the most important thing. Not nice television or sentiment.

What you want to do then? They won't be in a great mental state for a while now. It will affect on other teams as well, who are not even playing. Cancel the whole fucking EUROS while you're at it?
