Holy shit, was most horrible football expirience I witnessed.

I literally yelled at TV to hurry up and bring more medics there. Also fuck UEFA and their coverage of everything!!!

I hope Eriksen will be fine!

it's so fucked that they broadcasted the entire thing, they even showed his girlfriends reaction
Yes, that's true but how you know they did? Let's not fucking blame anybody in here for real, it's already depressing enough. You could have switched the whole thing off, but you kept watching so in the end, you were curious as the cameraman's.

I wasn't watching. That was really scary. It's good that they are reporting that he is stable now.

Is the evening match also postponed?

It has been confirmed that the 29-year-old Danish midfielder has been taken to hospital and stabilised after collpasing on the pitch of the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen moments before half-time. There are photos of a conscious Eriksen being stretchered off the pitch, wearing an oxygen mask and with his eyes open.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that either Eriksen or one of the medics treating him – and hats off to them, by the way – gave fans the thumbs-up as he left the pitch.

The Danish FA have just reported that Eriksen is “awake”. Thank God for that.

Hope he pulls through

BBC needs to get fined massively for not cutting the broadcast, should've gone straight back to the studio as soon as they realised what was happening but they literally left it until he was going off the pitch
I actually thought the coverage was really measured and respectful, to be honest. His teammates made a great perimeter for privacy, which was awesome. But the camera pulled back on the pitch. Best of all, not one replay shown. At all.

In the US, you would get 17 different camera angles replaying every 1/10th of a second over and over again in slow motion, with people drawing arrows on the screen and commenting on it.

Yeah, this is the worst I've ever seen in a football match either. I don't fault UEFA's coverage, however.

Having said that, I am prepared to give the medical staff a little more credit than everyone else, but you know what I mean, eh? Here’s hoping Christian Eriksen will make a full recovery but for now let’s just be grateful he’s still with us after collapsing and receiving CPR on the pitch. We wish him, his wife Sabine and their kids, and all his friends and family all the very best.

I really hope he pulls through. But as with Fabrice Muamba, we may have witnessed the end of his football career. Meaningless at this point as long as he can stay alive.
Too early to tell, but at age 29 not too many players would risk anything after surviving such an incident.
