Disciplinary proceedings have been opened against the Football Association of Serbia (FSS) for the setting off/throwing of fireworks and missiles (Article 16(2b & c) UEFA Disciplinary Regulations), crowd disturbance (Art. 16(2h) DR), field invasion by supporters (Art. 16(2a) DR), insufficient organisation (Art. 16(1) DR) and use of a laser pointer (Art. 16(2d) DR).

Proceedings have also been opened against the Football Association of Albania (FShF) for refusing to play (Art. 27(1) UEFA Competition Regulations) and the display of an illicit banner (Art. 16(2e) DR).

The case will be dealt with by the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body on 23 October.

So chants about killing Albanians wasnt a provocation?
It was. But so was the flag that popped up before it.

We see sick chants in football on every occasion, even in Serie A. When Serbia plays against Croatia or Albania you'll hear it, but you'll also hear it from Croats when they play against us (like we heard it).

It was Albanians who provoked with the flag. It was Albanians who rushed in to get the flag which caused the mess. And it was Albanians who refused to play.

Like I said, when Cavic wore that shirt he got 1 year suspension.

I'm sorry you lost your relatives in a war, but you're extremely bitter and biased at this point.

And returning on a provocation with another provocation makes u deserve a points?!?
Provocations happen in various games, Bosnians even encounter it in Romania on behalf of "Serbian brothers", same shit like these towards Albanians, that you can't get rid of, but attacks on players by rioting fans is totally an other thing and should be sanctioned heavily

When Cavic wore a shirt that said 'Kosovo is Serbia' they suspended him for one year.

Now we'll see what happens when others provoke.

It's gonna be laughable if it's 3-0 for Albania.
It's the Serbian fans that started a fight tho. If the Albanians had just gotten the flag and put it away, nothing would have happened. Rushing into the field and trying to injure players? Come on. And the Serbian FA has the balls to say they deserve the 3-0 win because we refused to play after that. I honestly hope they get banned for a year just because of that response. I feel bad for your players because they didn't start anything but your FA is messed up.

Provocations are part of the game really.

The problem is that UEFA has been really inconsequntial when dealing with these matters, sometime punishing heavily, sometimes not at all.
