agreed, very unfortunate indeed for BiH, but i really think they have a shot against portugal and their shit defense, they should keep going after rolando who will most likely get a red card at some point
Wouldn't rate portugal defense as shit. Perreira, Coentrao, Alves, Rolando.... We will have shit defense cause we will miss 3 defenders and the subs are quite weak.
I'd bet that we won't if it was a weaker but psychologically stronger team than Turkey. The Turks though are even crazier than the Balkans so in the end the quality won't decide as much as other things will. Quality wise both teams are near. 2-3 quality players with a bunch of weak spots in their teams.
Quality wise, you guys might be better. Like you said both teams have 2-3 quality players with the rest between mediocre and average. But out of the the three quality players each, you guys have fucking Modric. I was kidding, and it was more wishful thinking than anything else, i've watched the Turks a few times in the qualifiers, but i haven't seen Croatia once, so i have no idea how good you are. Like i said it was wishful thinking more than anything else

Yeah I know that they play very badly as a team but still they have great individuals who can make big difference with just one touch.
Same quality, so no advantage for Croatia here. Motivation, current form and coaching will decide. At this very moment all three are on the Turkish side. The Croatian team can't be motivated by anything as it seems, the form of the Croatian team is pathetic and the Turks have a superior coach. Nothing can change regarding the coaches until November, but I can at least hope that more Croatian players can hit form by then and the Croatian press will do enough to provoke the boys and motivate them.
Well at least Spahic is playing. Decent defender, always liked him whenever i saw him for Montpellier. Despite the fact that he's the one that made the mistake for Nasri's penalty, he was quite good against France other than that.
He did, the mistake was unforgivable, but he led the defense well, and intercepted lots of balls, i thought he was decent other than the Nasri mistake.
Btw, it was a clear penalty after looking at it from all the given angles. This one shows it the best. Even Nasri's foot is on the line. The leg, where the foul is made, is well inside the penalty area.
Yeah it was cheap, but look when he is about to clear the ball Nasri steps on his foot and he couldn't clear the ball. Then foul was outside the box.
you can see clarly what I am talking about at the end of this clip: http://rutube.ru/tracks/4900838.html?v=651b627b8e9559be6ea72469f3e0b9d7
