I'm not worried about the "with the ball" thing. I've seen him enough to know that he's very good with the ball. Tonight he sucks, but it might be the rain or just a bad day. It's "without the ball" that's worrying me. Not for the future, because he can improve, but I'm worried about this season. As Virtual said, it's definitely not the first time to see him badly owned as he was in the first half, and in Italy they don't have much patience to give time to a defender to slowly improve his defending. If he keeps being owned this way he'll be benched, as he was under Ranieri. Then we won't buy him and we get nothing but another huge problem at RB.

I enjoy your posts more than most but I think you are jumping the gun a little here He is clearly stronger on the ball but he's not a bad defender and I'm confident once he get used to that...
