That's a fair excuse for the midfield and attack, but not for the defense and the two huge defensive errors.
I wouldn't even care if those guys weren't playing for Juventus.
Well personally I don't care either way, but Ivory Coast are sharper and know each other much better.

Motta is doing badly with and without the ball.

I'm not worried about the "with the ball" thing. I've seen him enough to know that he's very good with the ball. Tonight he sucks, but it might be the rain or just a bad day. It's "without the ball" that's worrying me. Not for the future, because he can improve, but I'm worried about this season. As Virtual said, it's definitely not the first time to see him badly owned as he was in the first half, and in Italy they don't have much patience to give time to a defender to slowly improve his defending. If he keeps being owned this way he'll be benched, as he was under Ranieri. Then we won't buy him and we get nothing but another huge problem at RB.

Chiellini is holding the defense together. Really bad half for Motta. His timing on the tackles reminded me of Caceres. Hopefully it's just one off game.

Whenever given the chance to pass to Molinaro, Balotelli has nearly always taken a different option :D
I noticed that as well. :D

I enjoy your posts more than most but I think you are jumping the gun a little here :D He is clearly stronger on the ball but he's not a bad defender and I'm confident once he get used to that...

XX - Bonucci - Chiellini

Pepe (nobody pine for Krasic right now :dusan: )

...set up, he'll improve a lot with us. Even Molinaro turned into a half decent defensive player, Chiellini became less of a headless chicken too :)
