Well, that was quite boring, we were simply too slow to really create anything. I hope Van Marwijk has the balls to replace one of Van Bommel / De Jong with a proper footballer in VdVaart or Afellay.

Nothing much to write home about. Findley may not have what it takes. Bornstein is a joke and we all knew that long before this day. Spector has gotten owned by Elia. Boca has made mistakes. No possession at all.

The only bright spot is Torres who actually makes sense with the ball. Maybe Bradley made a couple decent passes, but that's it.

Back to the drawing board. Bring Adu into the team -- at least he has natural skill and talent unlike some of these clowns.

Oh. Well Snyder got held in the box, obvious interference but he was barely nicked. So instead of just standing and looking annoyed he does three flips and a good roll about.

Mind you this is after Stuart Holden has been seriously injured by some atrocious tackling by an unnamed Dutch defender.
