MaGuire would never do that

The rectangular shape of his head would've ensured that the ball was removed from harm at the first contact.

Damn, Dalot is starting. Third string right back and U21 vs Hazard :oops2:. Santos putting a lot of faith in his last-minute call-up, but with Semedo hurt...
After seeing the Germany game, how much worse could he really do?

This is a guy who has played only about two weeks with the adult team... coming in after Covid cancelled Cancelo. That's a lot against the #1 team in the world.

Semedo got lit up by Germany like he was Snoop Dogg's bong. But Osman rightly pointed out he wasn't entirely at fault: Germany was doubling up their wings and wingbacks and the coach didn't move his DMs. Semedo did what someone covering two people should do under the circumstances: cover the inside guy. Leaving Gosens wide open.

Semedo was much better against France and arguably had a very good match, IMO.

Whatever you do on the island is not a part of contintental Europe. Booing a national anthem is subhuman worthy, even if you think the anthem is ugly as hell.
I don't think everyone takes it as seriously as you do. Besides, it doesn't just happen within the UK. Sometimes we get a nice blend of booing the anthem and the black players on the continent :baus:

True that, the French were also booing the German anthem back in the euros of 2016.

Not saying it's just the English doing it, I just dislike it big time from whoever it is.
