Excuse me... Conchita Wurst is a drag queen not a "tranny", sweetie. Saying otherwise is transphobic violence.
Dag nabbit. Whippersnapper millennials be busting on my terminology again. “It’s not ‘sexual preference’, it’s ‘sexual orientation’.” Oh, exqueeze me!!

I hate now. I hate it.

Hard not to feel like Italy have some promising ideas but, against big sides, will be let down by a lack of quality individuals in the final 3rd and their own defense. They quality they have in the center is not enough to paper over it.

They simply lack world class players in attack. Plenty of good players like insigne, Chiesa, Berardi, Kean but there is nobody comparable to a Totti. They also lack a goalscorer, Immobile has never been able to show anything close to his Lazio form for the national side. belotti is no better.

Defensively they aren't that solid either. Lynchpins like Chiellini and Bonucci aren't getting any younger.

Much better with the changes after switching to 352 with Florenzi coming in. Took total control of the game even if the goal never came. Kean much better as a proper striker next to Immobile and Florenzi killed Veltman and Ake.

Should have scored a couple of goals more.

Next is Poland at home and Bosnia away. Should win the group.

Whoa, put the pipe down. Italy had 1-2 shots towards the goal in the second half vs 5-6 shots in the first. Italy was outplayed in the second half and that is a fact.

Did you not watch the game or not read my post?

We switched to the 352 at 72' when Florenzi came on and from the moment on had 70+% possession. At that point the Netherlands couldn't do anything.

Here I wuz watching Portugal and thinking, “For the first time since I can remember, I like all these starting players.” With no Ronaldo. It’s weird not to see glaring weaknesses in a side as usual.

i mean is this still the most expensive cb ever? terrible first touch, terrible timing, terrible speed, terrible judgement with one yellow in the bag already. the more i see him, the more i have the feeling that rugani would be a proper reinforcement for united.

And on top of that, look at his disgusting face.

I hope he stays at United for many years to come though.
