    yep ,it's true, i've been doin it for years. Gives the battery a bit more life. Not that much though. If you have a mp3 player or something, than u might get like 5-7 minutes more.

    its not biting it that will make it last longer its LICKING (yes licking) the ends that connect to the appliance/device in question that will give the battery a longer life. However, it can cause rust.

    NEW FACT: Guinea pigs and rabbits can't sweat.

    I dont doubt licking, but then how do you explain the proven longer life on my remote control?
