Ben Actually it was 3 Italian teams in teh semi finals not in the quarters ;)

About Moratti, from what I heard, he does not like it when the supporters insult him directly as he has given everything for the club.

I personally do not think he's the best of presidents, but at least he does fork always.

He has given us everything but a damn scudetto! this is really hot topic among interistas, would Inter be better without him? I honesly do not know....He is by far Inters biggest fan, but thats also his greatest weakness.

    He's too nice ;)

I don't think he can be as succesful as his dad. I respect Moratti the person, but not Moratti the Inter president. Nothing personal ;)

Hey dude... I totally missed this thread (probably cuz the headline said "Inter Fan" ;) ) But now I've read it, and I must admit I'm surprised.

We've seen a bunch of other fans coming here and talking nothing but thrash. But you seem like a kewl dude, with the ability to behave yourself. Amazing stuff  :D Welcome man... :)

Thanks alot Kaliman, appreciate that. I guess every set of fans has its set of rotten apples. Believe me, I know how frustrating it can be to have people coming into forums just to talk trash, I should know....we get it alot being Interistas.

To be honest, I would have preferred Cuper to be sacked in the summer if he did not win anything. Moratti spent millions getting him wingers to appease Cuper and his 4-4-2 formation. Cuper had no reason to dissapoint this season, the club gave him all the tools to succeed but when you cant even beat Sampdoria at home, damn thats going to infuriate alot of people:mad:. Arsenal was just a fluke, I think thats how Cuper wanted Inter to play all the time, but I dont think that can be repeated. Cupers not the only one to blame for this regrettable season, the players have to take some responsibility as well. Most of the time, they're out there "pretending" to care...i just wish they played, well....more like juve! With determination and fearlesness of the opponent. Inters come into games hoping not lose, Juve goes in wondering how much they are going to win by! Thats the difference people, you cannot blame Inter for the players they have, any other team would be lucky to have Javier Zanetti, Cannavaro, Vieri and Co., its the mentality of it all thats killing them.
Anyway, I hope I have answered your question and please, feel free to ask me anything, its all good!:)
    I see....

thanks for taking the time/effort to tell me all this. I know too little abt Inter... .... most of what i know is either what i see on the pitch or what other what i hear from other Juve fans :D :D So it' s nice of you to be explaining all this to me :)

Ok, so abt what you've said....

yeah, i guess that people are divided abt Cuper, but i really don't think that getting rid of him now will help to make things better. And it just seams strange to me..... I think that Cuper is a gd coach, it's kinda weird that he's just not been able to get Inter to play. Maybe it's as you've said..... ..... the players attitude are a big ???? too.

and thank you for the nice things you've siad abt Juve :) may i ask why you arn't a juve fan?? you say you wished Inter played well like us and all  ................ :D

Well I dont think getting Info. from Inter's rival is a good thing, may be a little biased. If I thought of Juve as what other Interistas say about them, I would not bother speaking with any of you. Anyway, why am I not a juve fan?? To be honest, I love Inter. It may sound corny, but I cannot see myself just abandon the club. I guess when you are a true fan you support the club through thick and thin, and well...you can always tell an Interista to be a true fan because we are not glory hunters. Unlike Madrid or ManU, fans we do not follow one player or one trophy...but one club, INTER MILAN.

And when I said I wanted Inter to play like Juve I meant, I wanted Inter to play with the mentality Juve players have, not necessarily play "like" them. Every team has a certain way of playing, we have yet to find a rhythm it seems.

exactly, that's why i'm asking for your views :) You see, i'm surrounded by EPL friends... i've got no one to talk to abt anything in Serie A :wallbang: expect for here and other forums.

    Hey there BCF 82!

I do admire your commitment to your team - Inter. But tell me, how hard and exasparating is it when you guys lose to Milan and finish lower down the order than most teams that you are actually better than on paper. What is the attitude of the fans like yourself? Knowing that your team is one of the most underacheiving teams in Europe? And who do yall blame? Is it the management? the system? the players? the attitude? Or quite simply Massimo Moratti?

As an outsider, i just wanted to know how fans like you cope? Its very commendable to stand by your team through thick and thin, but how do you look past the disappointment year after year?

ps: Do you really think Cuper was as bad as he was made out to be, or was he unlucky? Btw welcome to the forums.

Hey Baggio, thank you for the compliments. Looks like I have alot to answer. Ok for starters, I agree with you on the fact that Inter is indeed the most underachieving club in Europe. To be honest, I really do not know who exactly is to blame or at fault for this. Alot of people want to say its Moratti for running the club like a family business instead of a more formal business approach. Others claim its the coaches, such as Hector Cuper. To be honest, I really think he did alot for the club, and in some ways Im sad to see him go. But Im afraid Cuper was not the man to lead Inter to glory, his approach to important games were a bit cowardice and it spread through the whole team.
As an Interista, I think almost all of us have gotten used to dissapointment in one way or another, but were not about to give up on this club. Theres an old saying among us..."there's always next year".

I hope to have answered your questions.
