CAMBIASO'S INJURY
In the 73rd minute, with Juventus leading but forced to retreat into their own half to withstand Cagliari's attacks, a significant setback occurred.

Cambiaso began clutching his right adductor and, after consulting with the medical staff, signaled that he could not continue.

It is most likely a muscular injury, which forced him to be substituted.

DOUGLAS LUIZ'S INJURY
Just under ten minutes later, Douglas Luiz suffered a similar fate. The Brazilian midfielder—who had replaced Koopmeiners in the 62nd minute—collapsed to the ground in the middle of his penalty area.

The former Aston Villa player signaled pain in his right adductor area, and once again, Juventus was forced to make a substitution.

Thats a nice summary from goal.

Cambiaso had to retreat and make sudden movements can cause adductor injuries

Potential causes
  • Not enough adductor strengthening exercises - Responsible: Motta and conditioning coaches
  • Not enough rest and in between training and match - Responsible Motta and conditioning coaches
  • Posture and Alignment - Responsible: Cambiaso
  • Unexpected movements and shit happens Responsible: luck
  • Poor warm up - Responsible: Cambiaso

While Douglas Luiz, was only 10 mins in game, seems like he didnt warm up properly or enough. He and Motta are responsible for that. If Motta didnt give him sufficient time to warm up, then its his fault. If Luiz didnt do it with properly or with attention, then thats on him.

I think at a professional level both the coach and the player should be aware of this. Basic sports skills taught to kids in football academies.

More physical problems for Juventus. Despite Kalulu’s return, Thiago Motta has announced that Conceição will be among the absentees for the match against Hellas Verona.

"Cabal, Bremer, Milik, Conceição, Douglas Luiz, Renato Veiga, and Savona will not be available," said the Bianconeri coach.

A significant loss for the Old Lady, as the Portuguese winger has suffered an issue with his right thigh. Tomorrow, he will undergo further tests to determine the extent of the injury. Juventus hopes it is nothing serious.

The one thing i dont understand is why the Bonuccis, Molinaro and Gattis almost never gets injured, yet the Chiellinis, Bremers and Chiesas casually missing important moments of the season?

Because they are faster, more explosive, work harder and put their body's on the line

Juventus Update: Conceição, Savona, and Rouhi Still Training Separately

After a double training session yesterday, both on the field and in the gym, the players regrouped this morning at Continassa for another practice. Updates on the conditions of Conceição, Rouhi, and Savona have emerged. All three missed the match against Atalanta due to physical issues and have continued individual training. They are still unavailable for Thiago Motta, but there is optimism regarding their recovery.

With three days left before the Fiorentina match, there is still a chance that Motta could recover Conceição, Rouhi, and Savona. The return of the Portuguese winger, in particular, would be great news for Juventus, as he is a key asset in their attacking department. Their availability for the trip to Florence remains uncertain, and tomorrow’s training session could provide a clearer indication of their status.

Teun Koopmeiners left the field yesterday against Lecce due to a problem with the Achilles tendon in his right leg. Weston McKennie had a strain on his right thigh.

Both were assessed this morning. Their conditions are not a cause for concern for Juventus. They have undergone therapy and will carry out separate training sessions for a few days.

Therapy for Yildiz after the thigh contusion: he remains in doubt for Parma. Perin and Veiga return to the group, while Koopmeiners, McKennie and Mbangula have continued to do differentiated work. [ilBianconero]
