Seriously how many muscular problems have we had this season? Ppl suffering from fatique and muscular issues not caused in game action, has to blames on the medical staff. What are the physios and masseurs doing? In why don't they pick up on it and let them sit for a day or two before a problem arises?

Bangsbo back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's a list of all our injuries this year so far (in italian, sorry):

http://www.uccellinodidelpiero.com/lista-aggiornata-il-massacro-degli-infortunati-bianconeri/

btw hi everyone :)
From this list i count - 25-27 muscular related injuries, and only few of them sustained in match situations. With a decent medical team this has to be at least cut into half of that.

Ohh... and with the latest Camoranesi injuri, which is a knock/hit/trauma to the thigh. They fail to drain the blood, so it clotted, thus prolonging a week long injury with over two months.

This only a fast count using google translator, still i think it's quite right.

Iaquinta suffers injury setback
Thursday 28 January, 2010
Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta isn't expected to return to first team action until the middle of February after suffering an injury setback.

The 29-year-old Italy international has been on the sidelines since October 24 when he required surgery to repair the meniscus in his knee.

Claudio Marchisio and Gigi Buffon have also had the operation since then, but both players have returned to Ciro Ferrara's disposition.

According to Tuttosport, Professor Quaglia, the man who performed the surgery, has realised that Iaquinta's injury wasn't just a simple meniscus tear.

It appears the cartilage around his left knee also needed cleaning, something that extends the recuperation process.

That explains why Iaquinta hasn't played for 93 days while Marchisio only needed 46 and Buffon 35 to make a full recovery.

Iaquinta had started the season well, scoring three goals in six starts for the Bianconeri. His presence has been sorely missed.

When you look at the amount of injuries we have, people would think that we are preparing out players for a mission in Iraq :wallbang:

What are the odds we also have the cheapest medical team? We already have the cheapest coach. Hence we have so many injury problems. They are not good enough.

Just looking at the number of injuries this season is sickening. Like you guys said, it's one thing if a player picks up a nick during the course of a game, but a large part of our injuries have taken place in training. I don't think you can blame just the medical staff, although it obviously seems they are amateurs. I think Ferrara and his assistants own a large chunk of the blame as well.

Anyway, I was bored this morning and decided to make a list of our current squad on who is healthy and who isn't.

So what about last season's injuries, is Ferrara to blame for it too ?!

Poor Ferrara is being blamed for everything wrong in this club. Its clear that its the management problem. This constant injuries been happening for the past 3 years yet nothing have changed in this club.

Oh I totally agree with you. If you ever wanted to silently run a club into the ground they are showing us how to do it. Brazen incompetence would be the best way to describe it. Maddaloni and Sormani, our primary training coaches (and Nike "Master Accuracy" creators :sergio:) have been with us since 07. Coincidence?

You cannot say Ferrara has nothing to do with it. He's the manager of the team. At some point wouldn't you think he'd realize how many players are getting injured in training and say, "okay, this isn't working... we have to try something else."?
