This is a big issue for me. Unlike the East, where a decent 0.5L will cost you around $5, Vodka in the US starts at $25 for a bottle. This is terrible.
Tell me about it. Here Ive been drinking the best vodka in the World because thats whats sold in clubs and the price difference between Smirnoff and Absolut isnt much... when we feel like we have money we'll just buy Grey Goose

I don't understand what's so great about this Grey Goose. Nothing spectacular IMO.

    WHAT????

What are you buying, Grey Goose, Absolut?

Try some Vladimir or Reubel, 8 $ a handle.
Dude, I go to the liquior store all the time, but I always end up buying whiskey, cause anything cheap is not available. Maybe I should look elsewhere.

I still have 2 liters of "Russkiy Standart" thought- the best Vodka ever.

Hey, if it does what it is supposed to, I don't complain.
Yeah but you'll end up throwing up, almost dead and sleeping in the infirmary...

And with a huge hangover the next day

Grey Goose is probably the smoothest vodka i have ever had, the only one I have heard that is better is that Polish stuff.........my alcoholic mind cannot remember the name.
    Never tried Polish before.

My Soviet blood channels me towards Russian vodka. In stores there are literally dozens and dozens of different vodka brands... all kids!

That's exactly what I've done when I got my first paycheck- got a Glennmorangie! (there's still a little bit left in the bottle).

So, WHO is buying alcohol for you?

And what's up with you being from Finland?
